Bought for my son who says it works well. Says the slide oil could be better but over all solid.

Good kit, but confusing product choice
Overall, a good trombone cleaning/maintenance kit. Quality isn't bad, and Super Slick is definitely a brand I recognize and trust.My only complaint with this kit, for which I contemplated knocking off one star, is the strange product organization of the Super Slick. I'm not sure why they include the empty spray bottle. That's for misting your slide when using the Super Slick trombone cream. However, this kit comes with slide oil, not the cream. So there's no use at all for the spray bottle. The cream included in the kit is tuning valve cream. When I ordered the kit, I figured I would be receiving slide cream (due to the spray bottle being included). I prefer the slide cream, which is better and requires less frequent applications than slide oil.

My son is super happy with this order the quality of this product is the same if not better than some of the more expensive that I have seen out there.

that seemed like excellent advice to me
I have an 11 year old that has just started playing the trombone in middle school band. The instructor requested all players purchase care kits for the instruments. Having just spent over $700-$800 on a new Yamaha beginner trombone, that seemed like excellent advice to me. The first couple of weeks the teacher spent significant time on holding, cleaning, and caring for the instruments. This care kit provided everything my son needed.

Was happy with the slide paste, cloth, and snake. Good to keep your bone nice and clean.

Not as pictured in ad
I am the inventor of Superslick Products and the Trombone Cream, the spray bottle and the valve oil were not included in the package. The valve oil is useless to a trombone player. Also the "Professional Slide Oil" is also useless to a professional player. We don't use slide oil.

How to clean it
If you don’t know how to take care of a trombone look it up on YouTube or something if you are in a music class ask the teacher hake to clean it.
