A Is for Animals: 10th Anniversary Edition (Pop Up)

This book was given to my son 33 years ago by a friend. He loved this book as did his siblings. My grandson now enjoys the same book. Our original needs a little glue due to over zealous hands but it has really gone the distance. I just bought the new anniversary edition for children in my extended family and they love it.

My grandson loves this book. His father had the exact same book as a child and wore it out, so I ordered a new one. The only thing I wish is that some of the animals and birds were more familiar ones.

The media could not be loaded.  When my daughter went to see a speech/language pathologist to determine if she was Hyperlexic this book was used. She enjoyed it so much I immediately ordered it for her when I got home so she would have a souvenir/keepsake for this important moment. I have this book and the Counting Creatures book, my daughter loves them. I keep them put up because the pop ups are very detailed and delicate. She gets very excited when we read this and open the letters. She has learned of some rare animals that are unique and advanced for young children.

My son got this book for his first birthday 31 years ago. Not sure how it’s the 10th year anniversary but i was so happy I found on for his daughter. It is such a wonderful book. My 8 month old granddaughter loves it! I just have to be careful she doesn’t grab it.

I have nothing but praise for this book, and because some of the animals are rather obscure it’s suitable for all ages. My 4 year-old grandson learned there’s such a thing as Wallabies, that look ever so much like Kangaroos!

One of my son's favorite books. I personally i love popup books and this one doesn't disappoint. Very colorful and well executed. This book did help my son learn his abc's by the age of two. It keeps his attention as he is fascinated by the popups and he loves animals. And this book is a 2 in 1 learning as he learns both the alphabet and animals.My only tinsy complaint is that i wish some of letters had a 'better' animal represented. For example, the letter W, is for Wallaby. I would have preferred walrus but that's just me. I have given this books as gifts and the recipients are always pleased as this book is not easily found in major bookstores. So that makes receiving this book extra, extra special.

This was to be a present for our granddaughter. The book arrived sodden and full of mildew. It looked like it had been somewhere very damp for a long to. How anyone had the audacity to pop into a plastic bag and post it to me is beyond belief. Should you need further photos I can produce them. I would like my moneoand am totally unsatisfied with the service from aAmazon.

This is probably the best book of its type that I have seen. Each page is beautifully designed and constructed and produced delight from the child I bought it for. Many other so called popup books are really lift the flaps books.One feature of A is for animals is that the animals featured on each page are sometimes less known than the usual suspects. I think that is a plus as the unfamiliar is educational and fascinating.

Slight damage to some of the pop-ups so not "very good" condition - more fair to good, but still a delightful book.

Im not happy with the quality of the book. Pages are thin and easy to fold. Pictures glued roughly, unevenly. I wouldn’t not buy it offline.
