RCAAH216 Stereo Headphone Adapter Plug

1/4" adapters. Cant' have too many of them these days. Especially when good audio gear has 1/4" jacks and more and more decent headphones come with mini-plugs. This thing is priced right. They aren't complicated and they don't need to be gold coated. The part is well built and I like the hex shape because it makes it easy to spot as being not part of the jack plugged into it, and it also does not roll away when it's on the desk. I will buy more of them. You should too.

Works great. Not a lot to say about this product other than the fact that it works correctly and is still going strong after several months of use. This plug will enable you to connect the small headphone type jack into a large jack, similar to what is found in many home receivers.I used this to connect a small pair of Sony headphones, intended for a mobile device, into my Onkyo home receiver and listen to movies through the headphones. This comes in handy when a baby is asleep in the house. In addition to this adapter, I also purchased a 12 foot cable so it would reach my seating. I was contemplating going with a wireless solution but the reviews had me concerned and I ended up going with the tried and true wired method.

I bought this for my daughter's kindergarten teacher. It worked perfectly! She has the old school style of tape players in her listening center and wanted to be able to use today's standard headphones in them. These old cassette players call for a larger male end plug so she needed this to adapt the size to fit the headphones the students brought to school to use in the listening center. I bought her 5 more as a Christmas gift since she was so please with the one!

I was very happy with the item and the way that the shipping was handled. It was not a prime item, and the cost was only about 4$ for two of them. I needed them, so I decided to bite the bullet and order them and grit my teeth over the fact that the shipping cost more that the adapters. To my surprise, they were sent in a very timely manner for no extra cost. Not only that, they work as well.

I needed an adapter because while the stereo receiver lights were lit, no sound came out of the speakers, and I didn't know if it was the receiver or the speakers. Thought if I could find some old-school big plug headphones I could plug them in and if I could hear sound, then I knew it was the speakers. Couldn't find that type of earphones, just my earbuds. So I bought this, plugged in the buds, and it worked! But why weren't the speakers working? Since there were 2 outputs for speakers, I switched the wires from the A speakers to B speakers on the receiver and voila! no need to buy a new receiver. This item saved me hundreds of dollars!

Perfect! My earphone plug was too small for my Yamaha piano. Now I can use my earphones with my piano, and spare the family the agony of listening to me practice. This snaps right over the smaller plug which is attached to my Koss headset. Also, great for airplane travel I was able to take my own free, sanitary, (for my ears only) headphones for the movie, and be prepared for either size plug. The adapter is pocket size, convenient and inexpensive. I can afford to buy several, leave one at home. If you're an audiophile, look no further than the RCA ah 216 headphone adapter. Before upgrading my headphones with this little device, music sounded like I was being held down in a Chuck Lidell headlock, submerged in a pool of warm chocolate pudding.
