Mostly good, overpriced though.
Mostly good, some not so fantastic points though. I got this for a “broom closet” solution and found a damaged box through Amazon warehouse so it was only $185. For that price, it’s worth it. Had I paid full price though (which was almost $300 when I bought mine), I think I’d be disappointed. It functions really well, has ample storage and solves the lack of closet problem we had (we did have to leave out the shelf in order to fit the broom and vacuum)... the doors are thin and rather flimsy, though. The top isn’t finished at all, which isn’t a huge deal except it seems for that price point, it should be. We can see the top because it’s next to the knee wall on our stairs to the second floor, so it’s just something to note if you’d also see the top. (We plan to put a top on it like a wood counter or something). All in all it’s decent but it should cost less than $200, imo. Check the warehouse before you pay full price ;)

Easy to put together but slightly hard to do it right
It went together easy enough and I didn't have to do too much extra work to align the doors. The top drawer came out crooked but tightening the screws holding the rails to the structure helped mostly straighten it out. Also, the handles were really hard to install the screws and one of them sheared off in the handle. I'm guessing the handles are low quality as the screws look fine. If you have the tools, you should retap the holes in the handles before installing. I'll likely replace them anyway so it's not a big deal for me. Once it was mounted to the walls, it felt really sturdy. I was a little concerned over some of the reviews about build quality but other reviews made it seem like many people just weren't following directions. Notes on assembly: I used an electric drill with the torque set low so that I didn't strip the holes as some of the wood is low quality. The structural pieces are good MDF so it should last for some time. I mounted the cabinet to the walls and caulked the edges. If your floor isn't 100% even, the cabinet will lean and cause the doors to be crooked. I used wood shims to even it out before screwing it to the walls and then caulked around the bottom to hide the shims. If you mount the cabinet like me in a corner, you'll have to cut out any baseboard behind as well as possibly trim off a corner of the bottom drawer. I skipped using the anti-tip strap and just put a screw through the rear top board on the inside into a stud. I put another screw through the side top board into another stud. If the drawers make a lot of noise and feel like they are hitting something, tighten the screws on the rails as they are likely sticking out a little. Make sure you use the right holes for the rails as it will make the drawers very crooked if you use the wrong ones. I didn't use the hanger rail since I plan on adding some other kind of shelves to that section.

Exactly as expected.
I was concerned after reading the reviews about how much trouble people had putting this unit together, but ours went together with only 1 slight hitch. The holes for the handle on one door were just slightly too far apart, but that was easily remedied by angling the screw a bit with the screwdriver so it would go into the hole on the handle. The assembly was simple but not easy. We carefully followed all the instructions and read each step through before attempting it. I read the instructions to my husband, and he did all the work :). He also read them over, primarily to reference the images for clarification (at least that's what he told me - I'm sure it wasn't because he didn't trust me to read them in an understandable manner). It did take us the 3 hours that other reviewers mention. It's true that hubby has put together lots and lots of this type of furniture, but we thought the instructions were pretty good compared to others we've done. When completed, the unit looks like the picture - the doors (after adjusting according to the instructions) line up, the drawers line up, and it looks great. As for sturdiness - the unit doesn't wobble, and we pushed it around the floor to get it in place without any problem. I know it's particle board and I bought it anyway because it will fit our need. For the price, this was a great purchase for us and I am confident it will perform as we need it to do.

Warning review from a professional assembler.
I really hate leaving a bad review for Sauder because they have gorgeous products in the furniture area. Sometimes, people just don't know what they are doing and screw crap up while they put it together, but i put my own furniture together and other peoples so when i say this was garbage its coming from an area of expertise. BUT, they have excellent design taste only they lack in durability. It took me four hours to put my cabinet together, then another two hours to properly organize it (gently- because it has a thin cardboard back that gets nailed to the left and right backside of the cabinet and I'm not an idiot i get these things are not the greatest). Once its together its incredible to look at and the first thing i let slide was the slight misproportion of the cabinet doors but they were slight and unless you're just staring it down you won't notice it in passing. i needed this to act as a linen closet because i recently remodeled and took out a closet to create a hall. And for the price i figured it must be better than the reviews I see. Well it is- until you try to move it. even gently sliding it and pushing at the bottom jacks this thing up. as soon as i placed it i opened a drawer to put n a single pillow case and it slid out and popped off its track and i was like "ok maybe i pulled this too hard i need to be more gentle" NOOOOO!!!!!!! no matter how gentle you are this thing falls apart every time you touch it in some way, shape, or form. I wouldnt be so upest if it wasnt for the fact that the money i used to buy this thing was a gift from my mother in law who recently passed away, and i feel like i squandered her kindness away on something ridiculous. so now, not only do i have this cabinet that wants to keep falling apart every five seconds, Im leaving a warning review to anyone else who may be wanting to purchase this thing. its gorgeous it has plenty of storage space but it will take a while to put together and then five seconds to break. its just not worth almost 400 they ask for it. my suggestion is to find a matching dimensional wall space to slide this thing into so that it protects this cabinet. It CANNOT be free standing with both the left and right sides exposed because it does not manage weight dispersment properly and the middle piece that connects both outside ends are not screwed into anything but MDF which wears too easy. Unless Sauder figures out a way to make the body of this cabinet hold together better this is a waste of money. I BUY ALOT from amazon and this is the FIRST thing I've bought that i am legit unhappy about. You've been professionally warned. ( please know- it was delivered in stellar condition, impeccably packaged, completely undamaged with all its components PLUS extra is you needed it. But it legit lacks the durability needed to be functional.) Add- I’ve reinforced every bit of this thing that I could adding another hundred dollars to this- and I still can’t get it to sit right I don’t want to have to fix it to the wall but it looks like that is going to be my only option. No worth it. And I don’t think I’ll get my money out of it before I just burn it!

not the best quality for your money
The item arrived damaged on corners. The quality of the material is poor. Some pieces are not flat (deformed). There is no extra parts for assembly (zero), while one of the screws came damaged and I had to look for a replacement. I received another piece of furniture from another company, and the difference in quality is huge. This piece of furniture is significantly overpriced for what it's offering

Decent storage cabinet
I just don't understand the bad reviews. Maybe there was a faulty batch. I was hesitant to order after reading those haters. But I liked the all-in-one still compact size style. Drawers, shelves, hanger-rod. No, it's not a heavy oak never to move monstrum, but sturdy enough. The instructions are very user friendly, but you do have to pay attention as there are points where you can go wrong. The parts are clearly labeled. Only a few places where the hole is not pre-made, even the backboard is marked for nailing points. The box is heavy. After delivery I opened it outside and brought the parts inside one by one. I am not an expert furniture builder, female, close to 50, but have some skills. After putting together the kids' bunkbed with drawers in stairway by myself, I am confident. I DO FOLLOW the instructions, even though I could do it intuitively. Many rewiev mentioned alignment. I had no problem with that. The instructions warn you where to be careful and there is a door hinges adjustment guide at the end of the manual. I haven't even needed to adjust. If you like the concept, the price, can follow instructions, do not hesitate to buy this piece because of bad reviews. I wish I had made up my mind sooner.

Great cabinet
I bought this for my sewing supplies and materials; it fits the bill all the way around. There are some areas, you will need a drill so that you can get the screws in, keep that in mind. It is very sturdy and looks very nice when built. We took our time and also used carpenter's glue as extra strength. There is plenty of room on all shelves and I have my bolts of fabric standing in the area with the hanging rod. I would highly recommend that you put the hanging rod brackets on the proper sides BEFORE you put it all together. It is hard to squeeze in there to do it after the cabinet is built. Make sure to attach this to your wall as it can wiggle if your floor is uneven. As you can tell, we put the back support board (at the top of back) inside out. I figured it was okay as the cabinet will be closed. ha ha

Disappointed
Product Review: Sauder Select Multipurpose Bedroom Armoire Wardrobe Closet Pantry Storage Cabinet with Storage Drawers ⭐️ 2 out of 5 stars I recently purchased this Sauder Select Multipurpose Armoire, and while it looks nice once it’s finally put together, getting to that point was a frustrating experience. The material quality is disappointing — the side panels are extremely thin and feel flimsy, more like heavy cardboard than solid wood. The hardware isn’t much better; the metal for the handles, screws and fasteners are soft and feel cheap. They arrives with some of them door hinges bent and not enough screws to complete assembly. The biggest headache came with the drawers — the fronts were so poorly secured that I ended up having to glue and clamp them myself just to get them to stay together. It’s definitely not something you can just “assemble and go.” Once assembled, I’ll admit it looks quite nice from a distance and fits the space well. But it’s the kind of furniture you absolutely should not plan on moving once it’s in place — I have no doubt it would come apart if I tried to relocate it. Bottom line: looks good when finished, but the build quality is very poor. Fine if you need a budget-friendly, stationary storage option, but don’t expect it to hold up to much use or movement. I purchase this cabinet in a different color 5 years ago and it was incredible. This one is very disappointing.
