Size of product is good and is fun to use.

I'm going to be completely honest with this review. As a functioning toy gun, these are pretty lousy. They don't fire very far and can jam in several different ways. So why the five stars? Well I never bought these to be functioning toys. In fact I plan to strip all the parts outand just leave the shell. For me these were always going to be prop guns for a cosplay. Having them in bright colors, especially the barrel and slide in blaze orange, makes them far more convention friendly. These are exactly what I expected and needed. For that they get five stars.

It's not the best toy gun. In fact, I wouldn't suggest buying this if you want to play tag or a battle (ie NERF battle) - the bullets shoot at most a few feet and it only comes with one magazine. However, the mechanics of the gun are pretty good for a cheap off-brand toy gun. It feels like a real 1911 (except for the fact that it's toy-grade plastic). Note: the shooting mechanics are not that of a 1911 - you have to pump back the slide every shot yourself. This gun is, however, good for pretending. The reloading feels real and the gun feels real.

This is nothing like represented in the advertisement. Not to mention, I just received this on March 15th, opened it today after returning in town and went to immediately return the very very cheaply made item and I no longer have that option available. MAYBE AMAZON SHOULD TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THAT THEY MAKE MISTAKES FROM TIME TO TIME AS WELL. Not to mention, the enormous amount of orders that I place with Amazon if my customer was this dis-satisfied I would not care if it was 6 months later. It would be 100% obvious this TOY was not used at all if and when it were returned. Instead the almighty Amazon system cannot make a 1 digit mistake so it must be the consumers fault. This is a #PERFECT example why America has become the Worldwide “Customer NO-SERVICE Department” to anyone you ask around the globe. Trust me, I not only spent years on foreign soil for my Country, I do the same with my career! #SadBut100%True If you want True customer service buy from the small American companies that care about you by name not just an account number.

Did not last. Arrived July 26. Broke Sept 5. My 10 yr old son bought this and was careful with it. He played with it a few times a week and didn't drop or abuse it. 1 month and 1 week later a piece broke off and shot out of the gun. I am guessing it is what pushes ther bullet out. My son is very disappointed. When it functioned the bullets didn't go far at all but my son did enjoyed the gun because it was a hand gun style and unique from his other nerf style guns. The product may not be up to par but the Customer service from this particular sellar was veru good.

I regularly shoot my late husband's 1911, and have to say this toy/replica is quite realistic. The magazine and ammo work like a lighter-weight version of the real thing. One slight difference, to be expected as it is a toy, is with having to pull back the slide before each shot, as opposed to the real one which only requires the initial slide release in order to simply pull the trigger for each shot. I highly recommend purchasing multiples of this product; I myself have purchased half a dozen, some as gifts, and plan on purchasing more as I wouldn't be surprised if for some reason it was no longer available. Great gift for someone who might be interested in learning to shoot, and it's an easy intro for those who may be timid around firearms and/or educating young people about firearm safety.

Obviously a toy, but doesnt hold the 5 rounds in mag as said, also said mag already lost spring tension so now a failure to load. Ergonomic are god awful on this thing. Other than that its a good teaching tool. Even if the slide lock or safety doesnt work.

Good product but bullet range is very short distance.it is over priced.

Lo compré pensando que la potencia del tiro de las balas podría ser suficiente para jugar apuntando a objetos a corta distancia, pero la potencia es muy baja, la trayectoria se curva en apenas 1.5 metros, así que no ofrece suficiente distancia como para ser entretenido, en ese sentido es bastante seguro como juguete infantil, aunque no me imagino dando una reproducción de un arma a un niño pequeño. Es una curiosidad que solo vale la pena, como eso, para jugar en el escritorio.

lousy ,inferior product, waste of money. of course it is a replica toy and has only 3 functional parts- magazine, magazine catch, Triger and sliding top to cock or prime the gun. of these only magazine catch and Triger functions. remaining parts barely work.

Funcional sin embargo es muy debil. Solo es un juguete. Pero es una buena replica y funciona pare entender el funcionamiento del arma
