First time user - looks great, weight good, comes with blades, easy to maintain - glad to make the switch!
First time user of any safety razor. I love it. I love this model compared to others. Get a lot of compliments on it.Pros:1. Nice weight. I see why other people online talked about weight with safety razors in general. It's important.2. Super easy to adjust height of blade. Not many people (in my basic research with any new thing I try) mentioned changing the height of the blade in different shaving techniques/areas. I tend to change it once or twice during my shave. The chin is easier to shave with a tightly screwed on blade, whereas a less tightly snug blade offers more play in the "teeter-totter," for lack of a better term, which helps me shave the cheeks nicely. I'm not talking about too huge of a difference in blade "play" but a slight amount here and there is nice (maybe I'm switching between tight and really tight so it doesn't matter - like I said - first time user here)3. I actually unscrew mine, towel off all four pieces, and screw it back on so quickly its crazy.4. The look is amazing and the grip is great. One reason I didn't get chrome was because I know it would be slippery in my hands when wet. Why would I want something slippery in my hand when I'm shaving my face with a razor supposedly sharper than any other razor I have ever used (and cut myself with...)5. It looks amazing...I think I am going to do a black tiles with white grout and white tooth brush with black shower curtain. If only this new sleek room wasn't where I remove filth6. It comes with 40 fricking razors? You're saying the replaceable part that I thought would be annoying to get is included in the box? (Tip: razor blades in general are really cheap - especially compared to plastic replacement blades for Gillette). The blades are a recognizable brand I read out on a article about blades in general.7. The shave itself is really nice. You can do short or long strokes and washing it is so easy. Just put under the water under any angle and all hair is removed. No need to make sure high pressure is pointing at the right angle between the gap in all three blades.Cons:I honestly can't think of one. I even want to keep the box...

Found it a little too bulky.
Pretty bulky to get a quality shave. Fresh razor every use was the only plus why I purchased. But after some use, realizing the bulkiness of the head of the razor just gets annoying.

Couldn't be any happier with this razor :) Great Weight, Great Look, Great Shave and Great Price
I'm new to using a safety razor but after doing some research and reading reviews i decided to try it out. I went with this razor because it had a great price point and great reviews and i was not let down, i shave my face and my head every other day and have always used cartridge razors but after using this i will never go back to cartridges. The only regret i have is not switching over to safety razors sooner. This set up is great for a beginner because it's not really expensive and is easy to use. Since I've been shaving with this i've had no razor burn, ingrown hairs or any skin irritation and i honestly think it gives me a closer shave than cartridges. This razor has a great grip, great weight and is really stable ( I tried a butterfly style one that had a similar price point and it didn't hold the blades very stable and i ended up slicing myself up pretty good) I also like the black finish on it. It came with the Shark super stainless blades which are really sharp and they are great blades but i ended up swapping to the Shark Super Chrome blades because they have a much smoother and slicker finish on them and they just work better for my skin type. I would recommend this razor to anyone and everyone whether you're a beginner or experienced... great look, great weight, great shave and a great price :)

Looks good but has some QC probelms
I broke my Merkur 34c about a month ago and decided to try other cheaper razors on Amazon with good reviews. So far I tried the Weishi and Feather popular with good results.Classic Necessity razor has been in my cart for over a month. What made me pull the trigger on it was the price drop from $28 to $19.Considering you get a blade cover ($7 on Amazon) and 40 Shark Super Stainless blades (~$5) it's a bargain given the razor is decent. My first impression of the razor is good, build quality is good, it's very comfortable to hold, paint is pretty smooth except for one spot on the edge of the comb. It's the heaviest razor I ever encountered at 3.6oz/102g.2 issues that I noticed so far are the chipped paint on one of the combs that might lead to the paint peeling later on and that blades are not 100% centered and there's no room for adjustment.I will try the razor tonight with my Astra SP blade and update my review after a few shaves.I've never tried Shark blades, all I know is that the Super Chrome version is supposed to be pretty good. I want to try is first with my Astra for better comparison.Update 2/7/2017:So I been alternating between the Weishi and the Classic Necessity for the past few weeks and here are my results. The Weishi is easier to clean and dry as it's just one piece (butterfly mechanism) and the shave is even and smooth on both sides of the blades. The Classic Necessity looks great, but I found the blade not being centered is creates a big difference in shave closeness between the two blade sides. One side (with the blade sticking out more) shaves very smooth and very close. The other side on the other hand, would require multiple passes and much more pressure to get a close shave.Loosening the head a bit does improve the shave of the milder side but then the other side becomes too aggressive requiring you to adjust the angle each time you flip the razor. For begginers DE shavers I won't recommend the Classic Necessity as your first razor. Maybe I just got a bad one but there are clear QC problems with the one I got.The Shark blades that came with it are pretty good. It seems the edge doesn't last as long as on my Astras but they still provide a pretty smooth close shave.
