Prince Eugene of Savoy (Cambridge Library Collection - European History) Paperback – 9 Dec. 2010

From France to Turkey, the name of Eugene of Savoy is presented in very many places.His statues can be found in Germany, Hungary, Austria, etc.Though the book is written sometime ago, the presentation of the Prince, the places and people are described in detail in a very alert and attracting style.I would very much like to read a more comprehensive and up to date study of this modest and dedicated European Soldier.

Although not quite as detailed on the tactical workings of the armies in Prince Eugene battles, this book still stands as the best source on the military aspects of Eugene's life in english.
