Amazing demoplaner. I have tried many in the past and not been impressed but saw this one recommended by a YouTuber and thought I would give it a try. It is much better as it is weighty and not flimsy so you can control it better and get a better finish. Think the difference between a proper razor and those cheap disposable things. The result was amazing and I will definitely be doing more dermoplaining now as it's so easy and effective and takes a couple of minutes. I liked it so much I have purchased the smaller eyebrow version too so I can do my eyebrows.

I bought this dermaplaner tool in March 2023 after much research into the various types of hair removal tools available. I chose this Tweezerman facial razor because it was reusable and eco friendly. It worked perfectly at the start, removing the dark hairs on my chin and upper lip quickly and painlessly (I never scratched my face or caused bleeding with this tool ever). Having read up on the dermaplaning technique online, watching YouTube videos, I then began using the tool on the rest of my face. The results were excellent- my skin became very smooth and clear. However, as I continued to use it I found that small areas of my skin would occasionally pop off painlessly, leaving a solitary open pore or nick in my face. I stopped using the tool for this reason and a few weeks later found that my pores had enlarged all over my face, especially my cheeks and the area to the sides of my face including the temples (the few nicks I mentioned were the largest and most noticable).I was very upset by this as my skin had always been nice apart from the dark hairs. In all my research online, I never encountered this as being a known issue; only when the damage was already done did I finally find an article which listed enlarged pores as a possible outcome of dermaplaning. I am now trying to lessen the appearance of these by using 15 percent niacinamide. The results so far have been slow but positive, though I'm not sure how long the effects will last or whether the damage will be completely rectified. I may be tied to the niacinamide from now on or just have to accept the way my skin is. To those young women worried about their facial hair, I would say that this issue is nothing compared to ruining your skin. I am back to using a simple pair of tweezers and honestly don't think facial hair looks so bad as it seems when you are young. Dermaplaning my face was a stupid decision, made when I was young, and I would urge young women and girls not to take this path- you can never really be sure of the effects it will have on your particular skin type. To those who have already dermaplaned and encountered similar damage, then niacinamide helps significantly, helping to repair the skin's barrier and promote skin regrowth, shrinking pores. NEVER use niacinamide(vitamin B3) straight after dermaplaning. Wait at least a month until the skin is healed, then start with a low percentage of niacinamide to gradually acclimatise the skin to the treatment and so avoid any potential irritation. I used ten percent niacinamide, diluting a small amount in organic bio oil (which also really helped my skin recover), before gradually working my way up over a period of six months to the 15 percent version. This repaired my skin barrier. Now I am working on pore shrinkage and skin regrowth. To conclude, the Tweezerman dermaplaner removed hair painlessly and effectively, and for that I give it four stars, however, the process of dermaplaning itself, from my experience, is not something I would recommend to others. THINK CAREFULLY, please, before choosing this method.

100% better than the cheap, plastic versions. While the cheap versions pulled on my skin and hair, this just glided right over. It also comes with a few replacement blades, which all together, will last me longer than 12 plastic ones would, and I can just buy more blades. Better for your skin and better for the environment.

I’ve used a few different dermaplane tools and think this is one of the best. It’s a nice sharp blade and the tool is easy to use. Good that it comes with extra blades. Feels really high quality for the price. Would recommend

Sturdy and durable, doesn't feel cheaply made, quite good for the price. Definitely better than the plastic ones and probably a lot more eco-friendly. Also decent for removing smallish amounts of coarser hair if that's a problem you have, but can't attest to how well it would fare shaving a full beard. Blades are pretty sharp, be careful.

Lovely weight and feel to this, a quality build but the blades, though sharp, are hopeless as they just fall out of the housing. I've had to tape them in place to be able to use it. A great shame as otherwise it would be a 5 start item

I usually buy the cheap disposable ones but after seeing a dermatologist they advised to only use stainless steel as they won’t contain bacteria. Results are brilliant - comes with extra blades and the blade also easily slides out for an easy clean. I spray with tea tree anti bacterial after use and I have used twice now and my skin is glowing. Along side other products this has made a big difference and I would t go back now. Not to mention it’s better for the environment due to only having buy new blades ! Definitely worth the money and the quality does genuinely show just make sure you aren’t using it dry ! Always use an oil cleanser or whatever your preferred method-very pleased and highly recommended

Was hesitant to get this from some of the reviews and that I’d never used one before and I have sensitive skin. Can’t use any fragrance, oils, etc. I am older, though so not sure how this would have worked on my skin at 20 vs 40. The lack of sunscreen has definitely made my skin tougher than it used to be. (For the younger crowd, please protect your face!) Got this because it was stainless steel and did a decent amount of research on technique before trying it the first time. Also didn’t want to spend $100 on the electric ones. 100% wish I’d gotten this forever ago! It was a little intimidating at first but very clean, dry skin to start is a must. The angle matters and does need a few passes for those feathery strokes to get it all. The way it took off every minuscule hair and so much dead skin was pretty awesome. Ridiculously smooth. The blade did stay securely in place as I saw some other reviews said it didn’t but there are extra blades in the package. That may have just been a few that had an issue with production. Used others products from this brand before with no issues. Did not cut me at all, at least not that I could visibly see, and while it did cause some minor redness and irritation, the redness went away within 5-10 mins. Friction will do that, though. Did have some minor tingling with the first face wash after but only for a sec and followed up with a good moisturizer and no issues, no redness, no tingling immediately after. Again, there were no actual cuts or bleeding I could actually see but I’m sure with a blade, and it being my first time, were likely some microscopic scratches. Ridiculously smooth and my face did not break out at all or show any signs of anything but looking better the next morning. Will for sure keep using this and would buy again!

La verdad si es muy bueno. Si podrá ser "algo caro" a diferencia de los que ves en el super o en las tiendas, pero eso solamente son de plástico y de poco tiempo, al tirarlo andas contaminando y gastando más. En cambio, este ya trae sus repuestos y al ser de metal solamente compras ( cuando se te acabe los repuestos) otros repuestos. Es mucho mejor así y los repuestos se pueden reciclar.
