Mind & Body Whole Body Wrap

I have purchased micro heat wraps for 20+ yrs. This is the ultimate, stay warm heat wrap, best buy ever! It's huge size really surprised me. With arthritics and aging issues in general, this wrap is my dream come true. I just tested it and it actually held heat nearly an hour when folded over itself in half. Now it was only mildly warm at this point but when I first heated and applied it kept steady heat over 30 min.! Like, WOW! I don't know what these beads are that it's filled with but in my opinion, they're safer, hold heat longer and this wrap has nooooo scent, just perfect for me. I don't want any herbal scented wrap when I'm sick with a cold, or flu, upset tummy etc. I can get worse headaches or more nausea then. Unlike grain filled wraps, this is less likely to catch fire, burn some of the grains and then the wrap is left with that burnt stench when I reheat. Not with this. Sensible practice when heating will prevent such issues so follow directions. My microwave is 900 watts, so I heated my wrap for 1 1/2 minutes and it was warm, I just wanted to test the heat factor so I added another 30 seconds and perfect heat for my needs. All you can do is take the leap of faith like I did and give this a try. In my case, it's a complete blessing in treating my achey joints, strained back muscles, etc. Great price worth paying to relieve my pain and stiffness.

Love these. I'm sold on these and give as gifts. NO scent, Two needed small stitching. Use clay for cold. Excellent Product! Husband and I have ordered over a dozen of them. I ordered a half dozen last time as all good things come to an end. They are still one of my favorite things to gift. Used during illness for comfort. No Complaints.

I wore out my first one that was bought at a store a couple years ago. I purchased another “natural filling “ one and unfortunately can’t return it- it smelled awful. I’ve searched for my original and this is it! It is filled with clay beads-no smell. The weight is like a warm small weighted blanket on my shoulder- or wherever. A minute and 45 seconds in the microwave and it’s my perfect bed buddy, hand warmer, muscle ache soother. The cover is removable and washable. So glad I found it again. Thinking of ordering a backup for the time this one finally starts to lose the baffle stitching and the beads start settling in the ends…which will be a long time from now.

DESIGNThis is about 2 ft long, separated into five 5x7 packets with heating beads. This works well because (1) having separated packets prevents the beads from bunching together in one spot and (2) it allows you to put it anywhere: across your back, around your ankle, sandwiching your hand, etc. I love this flexibility. Since you cannot wash the actual heating packets, I also appreciate the included pillowcase, which is very washable. The one thing I would change would be to make it a bit lighter. I would guess it weighs about 5 lbs (even though Amazon says 3.6). For middle-aged or younger folks, this is probably a non-issue, but I anticipate older folks might find it a bit too heavy.HEATING ABILITYThis is super easy to use. Pop it in the microwave for 2 minutes, then lay it on the aching area for some soothing relief. The booklet says it gives 10-30 minutes of heat, but its definitely close to 10-15 minutes. It's easy enough to reheat, though, so not a big issue.EFFICACYI bought this for joint and muscle pains, and this definitely helps a lot with both. It does not take all my pain away, but it definitely makes it more bearable. I also find the moist heat soothing and calming.OVERALLOverall, would definitely buy it again and recommend to others. The price is right, its easy to use, and it helps my pain.

Love the size of this heat wrap. It retains heat for a long time and molds to where you need it to be. Works well around head for migraines. Does not have a smell which is also good for migraines.

Not much to say other than it works really well - but more for heating than cooling.Stick this in the microwave for about 2.5 minutes and it will be warm enough to provide soothing heat for 10 minutes or so. Cooling is not as effective as a bag of peas - as it tends to warm up and stop being effective after 5 minutes or so - probably due to the smaller size of the beads. Still, most people will use it for heat, ergo, 5 stars

After searching for years and wasting so much money on junk wraps that smell awful and melt in the microwave, I’ve finally found the one! As a bonus it’s large enough so I can lie on my side and still be able to wrap my lower back. After falling in love with this one, I bought a second for my husband’s neck.

I wouldn't be able to live without this wrap. I have a lot of back and abdominal pain due to a medical condition and once I heat up this wrap and put it on my body I get a lot of relief. I like to either lay on my side and stand the wrap up on its side so it's parallel to my back. I also like to lay on my side and have it wrap from my stomach to my back. It is heavy, which for me is a positive. The extra weight gives me comfort and helps me sleep, but if you are looking for something light this may not be your best option. The wrap's cover is removable and easy to wash. There is also stitching in rows along the wrap to keep the beads in different compartments and more evenly distributed. I have seen some wraps where all of the beads go to one side.
