made in Taiwan taste like chemicals
these have Japanese writing on them yet they could not be further from any Japanese mochi. they are made in Taiwan and taste like chemicals. the smell is so strong that I ended up just throwing them away after taking one bite out of one. don't waste your money

Sweet and delicious
If your looking for something sweet and chewy, this is that pastry. It has a soft strawberry filling and powdered sugar on the outside. Goes great on a rainy day with a nice movie.

Not great
Definitely not a fan. I love daifuku, but this wasn't hitting the spot. The local Asian market didn't have any in stock, so I thought I'd order some on Amazon...should have just waited for the Asian market to get their shipment in.. The banana flavor wasn't bad, but the mochi texture was off. Not the usual texture that I'm used to.
