Received this item with other items so I can't say much for packaging but they are plenty bright enough for a tent. Each bulb came with it's own pack of three triple A batteries which I was over the moon about until I realize one of bulbs battery casings does not work which is in no relation to the batteries since the other battery packs work in the bulb. So great product but beware they may not all work which can be a pain if you're purchasing before a big trek. Take caution. UPDATED REVIEW : The company contacted me, asked what the issue and promptly sent me two replacements. The replacement worked just great plus the extra was fantastic seeing as I didn't need it. I've used them since and clumsily left them on all night they dimmed a little but came back fine after sitting awhile. They're pretty durable up until a point but it snaps back together fairly easy.

I live in southern Florida and though these would be a great addition to my anti hurricane kit. I received them today and there is a hurricane hitting Florida tomorrow ( Isaias) so just in time. \They are great !!! they give a lot of light, they are smaller than a regular light bulb, well made (plastic) and batteries are included. A fantastic price for a very useful item. Thank you

the light is bright I have 3 large dogs and hung on the back of the harness while walking and on the leash, I loved how bright it the light was. I feel these lights would be excellent for tent use. However, with for walking large dogs that enjoy banging around and with a few times I dropped the leash they weren't able to hold up to long. I would NOT say it is lights fault. The reason I give 4 stars is even during our calm walks the lights sometimes would just turn off? then I would have to turn on this happened to often then i would like many times in the middle of our walk and it is hard to find the on button since it is also in black and at this point, you are in the dark. Again I not sure if it was a light problem? or battery was dying, but i am betting on the battery and if so keep in mind the lights were only used for about 15 minute walks nightly then turned off I used them for about 2 weeks before I ordered something else that suited our needs.

I ordered this product in preparation for Hurricane Florence, and wish I had bought multiple sets. They worked better than I expected, and the batteries they came with lasted almost 4 days, only using the lights at night. I left them on all night and turned them off in the mornings. Light was not harsh, has a frosted look to the plastic, and its not extremely bright. However I hung them on the ceiling fan and chandelier and it was plenty of light to sit around and talk, not enough to read something unless the light is near you. Great for hurricane/storm kits, especially since they are small and take up very little storage space.

I got these lights to use in our cabin and they work great. Used them all summer and never had to change the batteries. The clips make them easy to hang and move she's ever you need then for hands free light. 1 bulb was enough light for each room.

Great lights, exactly what I wanted (the color could be a bit softer, but they do the job, and for the price, you can't go wrong). DO KNOW however, they EAT through batteries. We were on a 5 night camping trip to Moab, and we would leave these on for 2-4 hours (one in our tent, one in our privacy pod, the other two for backups)... and the first ones were dead (or dim enough to be almost useless) by the second night. A little more judicious use over the next few days made them last all week, but cost 12 AAA's every camping trip adds up. I ordered rechargeable AAA's so I can recharge them off my solar panel but this was also an added expense you should consider up front. ALL in all, great lights, but consider the cost of batteries when deciding to purchase.

Good bang for the buck. Product is as described, with HIGH / LOW / Strobe settings, throws decent light at 40 lumens and lasted as long as I needed them after 2+ nights. Great lightweight light to hang on a ridgeline at your site, inside the tent or to take on your hip for that last walk to the facilities in the dark. My only real minimal issue to note would be locating the button to turn it on... I'd recommend making the button a different color or putting some of your/ your gurlfriend's/ wife's fingernail polish on it. It blends in on the black and you may find yourself rotating the light in the dark to feel/see it. Other than that, it's a clever design and kudos for adding the carabiner clip.

I purchased this right before hurricane Ian hit my home on pine island fl. I gave one to 3 friends. This light was amazing. We all commented how versatile and well they worked. My first set of batteries lasted 3 weeks, until we got power back. Can't say enough in favor of this product.

Our family dies off-grid camping, and these lights are so handy! They last a way longer than I expected and are super bright. Highly recommend!
