A very useful book and DVD
This is another great metal clay book. It really stands head and shoulders above many of them because of the included instructional DVD. Although I don't think this book is quite as good as Sculptural Metal Clay (which also includes an oustanding DVD), I do think it is a close second. Just about any metal clay "artist" will learn something here.

Metal Clay book
Lots of great ideas. Love this book and would recommend to anyone interested in metal clay. Since I worked with Metal clay before, I needed something to remind me of what I needed and how to use slip, etc.

Good information and ideas
I'm still getting through it, but it's full of great information on my new hobby. Not a lot of information on torch firing though.

Very helpful book...full of great tips!
This book is a great guide. I'm a beginner so I really appreciated learner the tips and tricks you'd likely only learn in a class. This book is definitely going to be a good reference tool for me as I build my kitchen and skill set. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Not on my level
Slightly disappointed with this book. It really is outside my scope of jewelry making. It remains in my library . Thank you

Pat Sharma - Croydon Jewellery School
My 5 stars I feel are justified. I recently purchased this book after research on what type of book I was looking for. This book does not appear it is for a beginner in metal clay but for someone like me who needs to gain more confidence in the sort of projects by Sherri Haab that are at a different level from the great 3 books by Sue Heaser that are aimed for all levels of metal clay users. Creating tube beads, creating links and stone setting and ring bezels really takes metal clay techniques to a much higher level for people serious to design and create unique metal clay jewellery. Great book for people who know metal clay and want to design at a higher level. I rate this book for metal clay designers and those looking for more higher projects 10 out of 10. Brilliant book Sherri and very well written. I would highly recommend it to all my students.

Como nuevo
Perfecto, libro como nuevo a mucho menos precio, y reutilizando artículos ya usados evitamos la tala de árboles.

THE book to have
Explications claires, idées et créations originales, même si c'est en anglais, et donc avec du vocabulaire technique, les photos et les explications sont bien structurées.

Great book
As for a beginner it's a great book to understand basics of metal clay. Many useful info that you also could find on internet but here you'll have it all in one place and could use it any time you need it.

Great informative book for Metal Clay enthusiasts!
I ordered this book after being impressed by one used on my college course for Metal Clay. It is very easy to follow and there is some good advice contained therein for beginners and the more experienced. There are some nice projects to try that should be within most people's scope. I would highly recommend this book for both the beginner and the more experience Metal Clay enthusiast.
