Does it have fragrance or essential oils in it?

Yes, one of the ingredients is "parfum," so it has that added, generic soap fragrance. It smells like hotel soap to me, and is a little too fragrant for my tastes. I would guess the manufacturer added a lot of fragrance to try and mask the sulphur smell.
