Can you run 96" panels through it?

Yes but because it doesn’t have a conveyer belt that holds the work tightly in place , it’s much easier to do with a second set of hands and an out feed table. If you do this then I would say yes with panels as long as 96 inches

Does it trim as well?

Just the ends with the knife. The trim they sells is great. I build frame less cabinets and band the plywood edges. With the trim I can do a job the use to take all day now in 1 hr.
