Absolutely love these bowls (3pc set) they retain heat very well, seal extremely well, travel well. That being said, it's hard to get the lids off because the indentation for the handle is smooth. I had to put surface grip tape to be able to get the lid off. Fork prongs will also help lift the lid.I bought 9 sets as Christmas presents.Overall they are well worth the money and price. I would recommend them. Very easy to clean.

Excellent at keeping food warm........hot rolls stay warm & soft. Kitchen uses are endless! I already have red ones & these are a gorgeous blue. At birthdays & the Holidays ..........Easter you name it & I don't have to worry about my food items getting cold & I like that.

I love these casserole dishes! They keep food warm/cold! Only problem with this order is that I received the wrong color. I ordered teal and received the blue. It was too late to return them because I wanted to use them for Thanksgiving! (This is my second set! First set was for my RV and I loved them so much I ordered a second set for home!)

So light weight and not overly large.

did my best; wanted it to work. boiling water to preheat large container, added my tailgait hot food (cajun rice n beans). 3 hrs later could remove the lid. can easily twist to unlock, but when food cools it creates a vacuum and the handle is designed for twisting not lifting. My hands could not grip the handle without slipping off..even with a towel. finally broke the seal with a pocket knife at the edge and food was so so warm. returned for credit.

First of all they are much more attractive than pictures show. The red is a deep metallic almost like a car paint finish. I used two different mornings filling them with egg bites for a house full of company. Everyone was on different sleeping schedules so I was able to keep eggs heated in the bowls for hours as everyone woke up at different times. The first morning I heated the bowls with hot water but the second morning I didn't preheat and everything was still warm after several hours. Definitely worth the purchase.

Nothing remains hot even if one does all the tricks. And the smell... the cheap plastic smell never went away after use or washing or months! Do not waste time or $$.
