Hillary Barrett translates the I'Ching in a way that preserves its esoteric beauty and gives the modern student access and immediate applications. I have multiple translations of the I'Ching, and this one is by far my favorite. She supports study with an amazing online community, full of resources and connections to dive deeply into the I'Ching's wisdom.

This is a lovely edition -- very clear, and the elucidation is stimulating. The author adds much to the oracle. However, I would like to see her perceptions focused on the yarrow stalk or stick method of casting a hexagram. Many of us replaced the coin method with the more refined nuance of the sticks many years ago. But, wonderful, informal interpretations.

they spent more money on presentation than content for such an expensive book. Less than 6 sentences per hexagram, line.Not worth buying since the website is more comprehensive.

This book is a superb resource, whether one is new to the I Ching—or a practiced student of its counsel. Hilary Barrett has done a wonderful job of making it accessible, while sustaining the complexity and richness of the material.

Loving it. Although prefer the larger format I own. Very insightful, researched and educated interpretation and guidance.Highly recommend it.

Using this resource for all sorts of transitions....This is an amazing book. One needs a sort of intuitive sense to understand many things in this book.

This edition has a printing error in that the 6th line of hexagram 3 is missing.

I purchased this book to have Hilary Barrett's translation of the I Ching in a tangible form. I discovered that this edition is incomplete: the sixth line of hexagram 3 is missing.You simply cannot have an edition of the I Ching with a single line missing. This is Arcturus Publishing's fault. To have the book printed like this is an act of gross incompetence; to sell it like this is quite simply an act of thievery. Shame on you.

Puts into simple words what is almost impossible to describe. The best book on the IChing so far. Thank you so much.
