I didn’t buy it for me but for my bf, he said he enjoyed it the only thing I didn’t like is that it doesn’t say here if it’s in English or not so I had to wait until after it showed up to find out that it is

Overall, the release is fine but has some caveats. First off, you do get a warning at the beginning before the film starts noting that some scenes had to be restored from alternate sources. However, these "alternate sources" are from an Analog Tape source meaning you will immediately notice when it switches to that source, there is no attempted color correction or brightness control, and they did not upscale those scenes meaning you'll be going from a Nice film scan to a Bad quality SD insert for sometimes a few seconds to a whole 1-3 minutes. The Film print itself is in Really rough shape, dirt and scratches are everywhere; while I don't mind as it kind of adds to the atmosphere of the film, most people are bound to complain. The film is also cropped to Wide-screen, while this may have been the way it was shown theatrically the remaster itself should have been in the original 4:3 aspect ratio (The DVD that comes with this has the OG aspect ratio and looks to be the Analog source that was used for the missing moments from the film print on the BD). I have also seen some people complain about the censorship and that their VHS or LD is uncut, however the movie version was always censored. There is no version of the movie edit that is uncut, the only way to see it uncut is in its original OVA form on LD or the perfect collection DVD.Overall do I recommend this? If you really need this on Blu-ray, then go for it but otherwise just stick to the DVD or LD

Movie was one very good one. Remembering and being able to see this again brought back so many memories

It's much better all the way around it not as many disks as the old 4 dvd collection and cleaner then the dvd. It even came ahead of schedule thanks to the seller being on the ball about it.

I remember seeing this waaay back in the day. I shoulda left it at that. I don’t know if anyone should watch this. I’m kinda surprised it’s allowed to be sold. I mean, I get it, freedom of speech and all that, but dayum. I guess it could be considered groundbreaking, but maybe that ground shouldn’t have been broken. I grew up on shocking entertainment- 2 Live Crew, NWA, Howard Stern, etc. But…idk. Def don’t get it for kids. Or anyone. Let someone find it on their own. I’m prob gonna burn my copy, I’m def not gifting it or giving it away. Gonna go to church, get right with God.

It make you wonder about every cartoon you watch. Nothing but high adrenalines.

Classic Anime!!! Definitely For Mature Viewers!!!
