These are the good ones. Others have a metal part in them that fails almost instantly. This one is made in Taiwan and note the branding is original.

Replacement valve on my automatic pool chlorinator piping. Works as it should!

Not sure why this is a >$40 part. But it is that price everywhere.Good news is that it plugged in perfectly with a few wraps of teflon tape. The old one must have been not only cracked but clogged, because when I installed the new one, I had to turn my setting down from 5 to 3.25 to keep the chlorine level from getting too high.Works as expected.

I have been very happy with this valve, so much so I bought several more. Learn from others not to over tighten as they have a tendency to crack. This valve has has made my chemical metering consistent and has saved beyond the cost of the valve already in its short life.

Received this item and installed on my chlorinator the same day. After reading negative reviews describing leaks and not to screw it on tightly I made sure to install barely hand tight. It started with a few drips so I took it off and replaced the Teflon tape on the threads and reinstalled the controller. It now started spraying water from a leak it developed. Needless to say, it appears to be a poorly made product that is simply not durable or able to perform as it should. A waste of money for me so I will attempt to find another controller that fits, is durable and can operate correctly. I cannot recommend in any way.

This met my expectations and was easy to install.

YES, this is the way to go. Don't waste your time or money on the knock-offs.
