WOW
I had a 5.1 computer Klipsch system from over15 years ago that was starting to wear out (Buzzing in the circuitry). It was a fantastic unit sounded amazing. I researched thoroughly for a replacement. So many to choose with so many bells and whistles. I didn't want complicated software, light show distractions, blue tooth or other compatibility issues and I'm certainly not going to spend $400+ just to play games or listen to music/Utube videos so I went with Klipsch again after reading the verified reviews. WOW! Plug and play in minutes. Highly recommend. Games sound great with no problems with sound direction in games and floor pounding bass. Tip.... place some pucks or a couple of small sized 2 inch spacers under this or any subwoofer elevating off the floor to tighen up / improve the bass sound. You're not going to find anything better quality in this price range!

Fantastic
Just installed these and wow, they are great! Got a new office computer and decided to bring my old Logictech 2.1 speakers to work. After carefully reading the reviews, I settled on these. I am not disappointed. The great....they sound fantastic. They are not 100% perfect but I'm picky and gave them 5 stars. I think the treble could be a little bit better. I have tried the speaker jack which is mounted on the side of one speaker and they were perfect for headphones despite what another reviewer wrote here. I am very pleased. HOWEVER! If you are looking for some nice small speakers with big sound, these are not for you! These are BIG speakers with BIG sound! They were much larger than I realized. I knew they were a bit bigger than my old LT ones but wow. This was not a big deal for me but if you have limited space or a child that crawls around and cannot put the very large bass unit on the desktop or adjacent shelf, these may not be for you. I happened to have enough room and love these. Also as other reviewers noted there is no on/off switch but you can turn the volume all the way down. The connector of the bass speaker to the right speaker can be broken if not careful and there is a warning sticker! Make sure you have it lined up right. I hope they last! As I was moving my old ones the bass unit broke so maybe another pair is in order!

Wow!!!
I did some research on this product before I purchased it. I heard the good things and the downsides.I love them! I love the sound and you do not have to have the volume all the way up! If you want to wake your neighbors up, then this isn’t for you. But if you want something that sounds great and full you’ll love these speakers.JRT

Wonderful Speaker System!
My husband ordered this speaker system as a replacement for an Altec Lansing system. He’s very pleased with how he can control the bass and the treble. Sound quality is very good. He feels this is a very good buy. We experienced excellent communication and customer service from the seller. I would highly recommend this PC speaker system.

used for laptop
used this for laptop/tv streaming...…..ordered it twice....both sets sound GREAT and had volume......DOWNSIDE 1st one worked 2 days - thought I got a bad one so reordered- 2nd one lasted 10 days....kinda damn pricey for a week to two weeks of operation til they just quit (think the amps are weak and blow out) I aint gonna do it a 3rd time. Kilipsch makes some great speakers and systems but this isn't one of them.

Do not trust the Vendor that Amazon had shipped this junk to me
be care full about buying this sound system. The unit I got I cannot use because this system has a low-level electrical hum, you can hear the hum lower volume or high volume, I reported this problem to the vendor and so far have not heard what they plan on doing about the problem. I will not use them the electrical hum drives me up the wall.P.S. even if your not using the system you can hear that hum, to stop it you need to turn the volume all the way down to stop the hum. I am in my 70s and have a problem with my left ear very loud noise all the time caused when I was in the Military for 1969 to 1973

POWER for gaming sound
I bought this to replace the same model I bought maybe 7 years ago. The older unit has a 'main' power switch and a fuse on the sub enclosure that the new one lacks (-I never used the sub power switch, I just left it on all the time. And I never played the thing very loud, and never had to replace a fuse). The older sub is also noticeably heavier than the new one, mainly around where the power supply + amp board mounts inside. This new unit has the same external power consumption markings, so it may just be using a smaller & more-efficient power supply now. The old unit had the sub speaker fail (I replaced that myself) and one of the speaker wire clips on the sub broke also, but this was probably after at least 5 years of use. Eventually the old unit had one of the satellite channels fail (it was the amp channel, not the satellite speaker itself). This is fairly common with age and rather than try to fix that right away, I decided to buy a new one. If this one goes 5 years I'll be happy with that. ====== The sound is... the same as before. It's fun for gaming because it's powerful, but it's not really audiophile-grade in my opinion. And Klipsch doesn't claim it is. There's kind of an empty valley between what the sub can play and what the satellites can play. If you were shopping for someone who was REALLY picky about music/sound quality you would probably want to consider studio-monitor-type PC speakers like M-Audio Carbons instead.
