Great Rod
This rod is great. It has a very fast and sensitive tip but a strong backbone to get the job done. I use it below the dam near my house. Biggest blue cat so far is 32lbs. The rod handled like a champ. I have a penn battle III 6000 on it with 40lb braid. Great set up. Can’t be beaten!

It's a 12ft pole...lol
It's cartoonishly big and I'm a cartoon character trying to cast it. It's going to take some practice. You just don't run up and grab Paul Bunyon's Catfish pole and start casting 100+ yards with laser accuracy without some practice and a hearty breakfast. It's impressive and pretty and you don't want to cast in front of anyone until you sort out your skills. It's got what I'm thinking is a heavy action and it's stiff so you can drag a catfish driving a buick. You'll see what I mean. If they fence off your fishing hole, you can pole vault the fence with it I'm wagering. I put a bait feeder on it. There's another rabbit hole to explore in fishing gear. It's that mondo heap big awesome catfish rod you never knew you wanted until now. Get it. Get it so I'm not the only one out here throwing chicken about with a telephone pole.

shipper did not individually bag the rod pieces, guides rubbed into the blank at several locations
it showed up early, just loose in large box without any plastic sleeve so the blanks had wear marks clear through the clear outer finish and the nice orange paint...disappointing, as for the rod, thing is a beast 10-11' max to do again
