Comfortable Summer Shoes
These are simply the most comfortable casual shoes I've ever owned. I've had them for about 6 weeks and wear them almost every day. First, they are open enough to feel like sandals, but have enough structure to make me feel comfortable wearing them in either rugged outdoor areas or crowded metro areas where you need a bit more protection from clumsy people or the carts they push. Second, I've had plantar fasciitis in the past and need more substantial arch support than average shoes. On nikes or dress shoes I typically remove the low grade insole and replace it with a special insert that gives robust support. For this reason I have almost never found a pair of sandal type shoes that I could wear without a lot of foot fatigue or pain. These Tevas have excellent, higher than average arches which makes it possible for me to wear these all day with no problem, no pain, and NO FATIGUE! I am beyond pleased—I'm delighted! And, while I wouldn't want to run any real distance in them, they are supportive enough that I would not give any thought to running to the end of the block and back to retrieve a fleeing dog. Third, there are a couple of ways to adjust the fit on the heal and over the top of the foot. I was nervous when I put them on right out of the box... It was tight and uncomfortable across the top, and the heal was a little tight. Both have velcro adjustment strips, which I adjusted and ended up with an excellent fit. Lastly, the snap-in clip for the top strap makes them a breeze to get on and off in a hurry. I haven't had them long enough to know if they will hold up over the long haul, but after 45-ish days of use, they show no wear (though I've been in the mud once or twice and wiped them off), nor do they appear to be weak or poorly constructed. I love these shoes and will buy them again! 2019 Update: Heading into my 2nd season with these. Still love them and have looked forward to being back in them throughout winter. They are showing a little more age on the top, but they are not ragged by any means. The leather upper appears to be more "wavy" or slightly curled as you might expect after it had been wet a few times. This doesn't impact the construction or comfort... they just don't look brand new. They have loosened up slightly, so i'm adjusting the velcro straps to compensate. I'm glad spring is here... I've already been back in them several times. Still feel perfect with the slight velcro adjustment. Based on wear over the first season, and now into the second, I'm guessing i can get at least 2 or 3 more years out of them -- probably more, depending on how rough I am on them. 2025 Update: These are still my favorite pair of summer shoes. They now look like they are 8 years old, but they still fit well and I retract nothing of my original review! One of the best shoe purchases I've ever made. I'm going for 10 years!

Air those feet out!
These are great with or without socks. They do wear out and are lower than your average sneaker so you may rub you pant legs on the ground. Love em in the summer and oddly this colorway is cheaper so why not! Recommend

Love these mandles!
I love this brand! I have worn them for 15 years constantly! I even ran a 10K in them when I forgot running shoes. I highly recommend.

Goodbye Keen, I love these Tevas
I’ve had 3 pairs of Keen sandals in a row over the past decade as my primary summer footwear. They are great, but I grew tired of the chunky style so I went looking for something different. The Teva Omnium 2 were impossible for me find both locally and also on a 4 state road trip. I finally broke down an ordered my normal size without ever seeing these in person or trying them on. The fit is perfect, and the 2 Velcro straps plus quick lace cords give you a ton of options to snug it up for a rough hike or loosen it for normal walks. The cushioning is soft but not so much that you lose the feel of the trail under your feet. Traction is good but I haven’t done much hiking and have not tried them on rocks yet. The heel did take a bit of beak in for me. The Keen heels make pulling them on annoying, but the design is completely non abrasive. The Omniums will rub your heel more than the Keens. But my heel broke in pretty fast and the advantage is that with the strap, you have more customization of fit. Also, the front Velcro strap has a quick release buckle which means you can slip them on fast for a quick trip to the yard with your dog, no hands required. The only downside with no counter-advantage is the lack of airflow near the closed toes. Keens do a better job in this regard. I’m still happy I made the change, but if airflow on the Keens is on the edge of acceptable to you, you won’t like these. I almost forgot. Keens give you a little slap-back with every step, these Tevas do not. The picture shows the Color “bungee cord” from Trav against my old Keens (grey/orange) bot in sunlight.

Solid Reproduction of a Classic Sandle
I had been wearing my old Teva's with this design for several years because the successor model didn't hold up. There was too much plastic or rubber or something, and it broke. There wasn't enough leather in that design, so I wore my older Teva's, which were still serviceable. But these new models recapture the same feel and stubborn dependability that I loved about the old ones, except that they're brand new again. They're a little bit narrower, or it could be my feet are fatter. But they fit great and keep my tootsies cool during the Georgia summers! Two thumbs way up!

Blistered heels
I like these shoes, they look and fit well. However, the stitching on the back of the heel is exposed with no padding which is very uncomfortable and has caused blistering on the back of my heels. I have put tape on the back and band aids on my heels but that does not stay very long. Unfortunately I will not be able to use these on my vacation.

Perfect Old-Man-Uneven-Ground-Dog-Walking Shoe
Have you ever watched "The Dog House" on MAX? Did you come away without thinking, "Ohhh... that could be our dog!" Correct: impossible. Cannot be done. So by the time we had binged into season #2, we were well on our way to a canine relationship. And when we finished season #4, last episode (#8?), we were on the local humane society websites. And thus, Olive, a Spitz mix. 40 pounds of pure dream for a couple well into their 70s. So now, I am walking a dog. What are the potential problems for an old sod walking a dog on uneven ground in the American south land? Well, you worry about falls, so an old guy needs a shoe that provides a wider base because when he looks down, he needs to have a sense of confidence in his base: that's important because it engages the cortical component of walking. A non-slip sole because the backyard is uneven? Sure. A shoe that is adjustable in the heel, width, and point of attachment to your foot and ankle? You betcha. A quick-release buckle to remove them so that you don't have to mess around with velcro straps, say, while reaching across a comfortable, and comforting, belly? Um hmm. A long-lived shoe because you are on a fixed income and you were taught by your mother that shoes should never wear out, just be outgrown? Yes, yes indeed. A sandal-ish style because, after all, college was only 60 years ago, and you are sure that you can go back to "The Quad" with your nose flute and slide rule, and maybe meet girls who smoke French cigarettes and wear gladiator sandals - girls who would be fascinated by your hiking sandals and your Beat poetry? "Hey, man, I dig your howl." "I shall sing you a folk song and we shall fall in love promptly." Obviously. And that is what the Tevka Omnium 2 Sport Sandal provides: comfort, security, quality, and... and memories. Seventy bucks for memories like those? Well, these are my criteria and those are my memories, kids. Get a pair of these babies and forge the memories that predict the story of your own consciousness. All that from a great pair of shoes. Buy a pair. Have a life. Write your own review.

All good Teva
Bought a pair of mislabeled Merrel boots and they would not swap them back but these Tera’s fit my size exactly. Well made (Cambodia). Product as described. All good. All happy.

Fits well, a lot of customizations and very comfortable
I'm very impressed by this pair of sandals. I wear 8.5 extra wide men and have mild case of neuropathy because of diabetes. It is always tough as I wear wide and need sandals that have soft bottom as well as good support. This pair click all these buttons for me. The other thing that impress me is I can make a lot of adjustment so it can fit my feet the best and once i did, I no longer need to undo all the adjustment to take the shoes on and off. To take it on/off, you just do/undo a clip. BTW, I've extra wild feet but it fits well still although it is suppose to be for regular feet

Great build quality, comfortable and easy to put on
Great build quality, color (black olive) and design look great. It's easy to get in the shoe and tighten it due to the buckle closure. The wide fit is perfect for my feet.
