Bought this as a gift for a grandpa. While the blanket is great In heating and distributing the heat evenly, grandpa said it was way too hot for him! The blanket itself was very soft and lightweight. Definitely a great gift for someone who’s always cold. I ended up returning the item and getting his a regular blanket instead.

I believe electric blankets are a hit or miss type of product. I have electric blankets that stop working in 2 weeks. I can honestly say this electric blanket still works, and I purchased it in 2021. I really hope I get a few more years out of it.

This blanket unexpectedly stopped working after a week or so but it was great while it was working!

The media could not be loaded. I ordered one blanket in 2022. It was fine at first, but stopped turning on after a couple of months. I contacted the company since they claim to have a warranty and they offered a replacement. It took several months to get them to actually send it, but eventually they did. Well, today the replacement (which I've had since fall 2023) stopped working. I guess it's really my fault for ordering from one of these no-name Amazon companies but I'm annoyed nonetheless.

This throw and keep in mind it is a throw not a blanket, it would fit over a single or twin bed and be adequate. The reason I say so far so good is I have had electric blankets before mostly Sunbeam ones and also Biddeford & after a short period. Of time maybe a year or even less, the controller will give you an error code. And at that point they seem to be useless. Although you can use the blanket if you want without the electric part. So, I have found that electric blankets do not seem to last that long. I don't know if it is built in that they screw up after a certain length of time. But yeah, they do seem to have issues with how long these electric throws and blankets last. But so far, this one has been okay and it's been a couple of weeks. Maybe I'll review it again after a longer length of time. But as of now, it works good you can put it on the four or five setting and get plenty of warmth, has good heat and it does have a 3-hour shut off as has been said. Not bad. Let's see how it goes. But it does live up to what it's been said to do so far. And for the price I guess that's not bad. UPDATE- on my second winter with this and it is still working and doing its job. And as I mentioned in this review most electric blankets including Sunbeam and others have crapped out on me after using for 3 months or so. This one is surpassing those and that is awesome!

I’ve used this blanket daily for more than 8 weeks now. It gets used on my patio on chilly mornings/evenings and at my desk when sitting still leaves me a bit too cold. It radiates a lot of heat, isn’t heavy, and has a cord long enough to not be a total pain. I almost always crank the heat up all the way—because if I’m cold enough to turn it on, I’m cold enough to want lots of heat.I’d buy this again for myself or a gift.

After a month it has broken & of course the return window closed. When I press the button it no longer turns on. I’m disappointed because I really likes it because it seemed like good quality.
