Nice enough assembled, terrible to actually assemble
This looks nice enough, and once assembled does the job. For something as simple as it is it was a real frustration to assemble, and I've built a fair bit of flat pack furniture over the years to use as a point of comparison. The holes for the screws are really terribly machined, so for the entire length of the screw (which aren't small) you really have to put a lot into twisting the screws. Its basically necessary to use the provided allen wrench with the long arm out to get enough torque to rotate the screws, and that confines the movement of the wrench to about 45 degree turns before needing to reposition it. This makes the whole process super time consuming. The instructions are on a single side of a single sheet of paper, with ALL of the steps represented in a single diagram, which generates a lot of ambiguity and doesn't really convey any info. One of the steps requires the bed be put up on its end and banged against the floor to settle everything in place, which is bloody ridiculous.I can only assume the manufacturer has never assembled one of these things themselves, or just hates their customers, because what should have been a 20 minute assemble job was two hours of frustration, almost entirely because of poor machining of the product and terrible instructions. If you have more time (and patience) than budget, I suppose this is an ok purchase, but if you can afford a bit more definitely spend a bit more. I dread ever having to dissemble this thing now that it is together
