SennheiserEnterprise Solution CMB01 CTRL Black

I have the Sennheiser SC 660 USB Headset. I wanted to be able to use it with my phone, but the connector is a USB. I found this on the AMAZON website which diects you to check the compatibility guide. There isn't one. I went on to the Sennheiser website and used the Chat feature. It only took a few minutes to get an answer that said this will work with my headset. When it didn't, I went back and did my own reaserch. You can by the SC 660 without a connector for about $20 less. This CMB01 CTRL will fit that headset to give you a 3.5 mm jack. There is some chat that the 3.5mm Jack may not work with some computers. They can hear but not talk. My USB works great with my computer. So, it appears that a USB to USC adapter may do the trick for me since my Phone has a USC inlet (Usually for the power cord. The adapter is cheap, so I will give it a try. If you have the SC 660 set that needs a separate connector, this will probably work fine for you. You may also have to but the USB version which is also available to get the headset to work with your computer. I hate giving this a 2 star, but, I look at bad reviews when I buy online Just to see what happened. Hope this is helpful.

I like the headset - works well. Boom mike could be a little bit longer to reach around bigger heads. However, it was not obvious that the headset required you to order a separate accessory to work. The headset ends in a proprietary connector and you must order another piece that matches the connection for your device. When I opened the package it became clear, and I ordered the appropriate connector for my smartphone. This leads to my major beef, the manufacturer US and Canadian websites are totally unclear on this, and very difficult to navigate and identify the part you need if you don't already know their terminology and product structure. I am appreciating their modular approcah now that I need a separate connector to work through a USB port. However, it was a devil to find because I lacked the right search term. I have not yet identified a connector with a separate mike output, but I suspect it exists. Lack of information on amazon and other sites has its roots in Sennheisser's own deficient web site organization. Another small drawback: the company does not make, and I can't find elsewhere, a hardshell travel case that matches its reduced thickness so that I can slip it into my briefcase without adding to the bulge. Thin is in, but nothing available.

I bought two pieces of this product, which is supposed to be of premium quality and one of the pieces was broken. Sennheiser is a company with a big name; however, obviously it has compromised on its quality assurance. I would not recommend buying Sennheiser items online AT ALL.

Price is more high than others product I see and try but this product is easily the best. It's a good overall experience I have using it on messenger with webcam on a bad smartphone (Motorola X Pure 2015). Screen of X-Pure is really good but all the rest is so bad. All others headphones was so bad after 1 try we stop no hesitation. Quality of sound is nice not more. For music it's not recommend. It's 1 mono sound for both hears, no stereo sounds so a good reason not good for music. It's really use in call center. I will use it later for language learning on computer. It's light, confortable with my Senneiser CC 550. I test with USB cable on a very powerful and impressive Laptop and it.s clearly better than on my Motorola. But probably using this cable on a iPhone 6S will be has good has USB cable or others good smarphone. I recommend to buy even the price is very more high than competition because competition is just not good enough.
