I am an acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner. In Chinese medicine, cold can invade the body and cause constriction, pain, and poor circulation. For the last few years, I have given these out to patients, ordered for family and friends as a must have during the winter. These get really nice and hot and help relieve low back pain, shoulder pain, and help keep me warm all day even in biting cold weather. I travel with them all the time to keep myself from getting too cold and getting aches and pains on the plane (one patch on my low back, then I cut one in half and place each half on my shoulders). Caveat - for some people, the patch gets too hot (if they already have too much heat in their body) and can make the skin feel like it’s burning or itchy. For those people, I recommend wearing it for only an hour or two, if at all. But you have to try first to see how it feels. Also, note - the patch can normally be worn for about 4-6 hours, sometimes I wear it for up to 8. Once you take it off, if you jump in a hot shower right after and directly hit it with hot water, it can feel like that area of the skin is burning. Either wait for an hour before showering, or just cover the area with your hand for a minute and it will stop feeling like it is burning.

Works very good so far my second patch now I have a question could the heating effect be reaction to the inflammation or the actual pain area problem if you're understanding me is it more hot where the actual injury is or the problem is versus if you put it on a healthy part of the body it doesn't get hot, if so I'm hitting the right spot 'cause it's pretty warm but I can take it off whenever I can't handle it anymore right so I'm not worried about that

Just received this yesterday and was amazed at how hot it felt. I want to say the patch took effect after 30 minutes up to an hour and I just felt relaxed where I feel pain/discomfort. I know this review is too early to write but I was amazed with it. I’ve placed it on my back and feet and I noticed that if I lay down where I have my patches on, it starts to heat up even more. And for my feet, I’ve placed it on the bottom of my feet and I noticed that if I put pressure on them, it’ll also start to heat up more. So I’m thinking maybe wrapping something around the areas tight so it’ll do more effect on it will help? I think for its money, it is worth it as I’ve compared other products for it. Some products will sell less for the same amount of the price. Some will sell the same amount of the product but the price is a bit higher. I think this is the most I can probably afford and I hope it’ll help me with my discomfort/pain

Good product and easy to apply

I use these for a bicep injury that was slow in healing. Nice, warm sensation when put on. All-over easier movement with less pain

It didn't work for me. There's no difference. Sorry, I am disappointed

Love these. Really put off some heat. I use them on my back. Go on easy and can be removed easy as well.

HOT! The heat and sting. Left a perfect burn exactly where the patch was. At first, I just thought it was heating up and then it turned into burning. The picture literally shows what it’s gonna do, burn like a mofo under the patch. Can’t tell it I have a heat burn or chemical burn now.
