Large Windowpane Lantern

So much more than I expected! After I placed my order I read the reviews., I was expecting it to be broken when it arrived. To my surprise it was in perfect shape and absolutely beautiful. The lantern is quite a bit larger than I expected, which was a nice surprise. It also fits perfectly in the space I bought it for. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Love my lantern! First one came broken into many pieces! I don’t think it’s fair I had to mail it back! I could have taken a picture and sent and saved me a lot of trouble!

Terrible. Most of the glass was broken, and while carrying the box in the house, the shards of glass fell through the gaps in the box and ended up in my foyer. Bottom was not even glued properly, and came off in the lantern. would not recommend, should have paid attention to the sound of the box before i brought it in the house...asked to return, and received full refund.

This lantern went way above and beyond my expectations! It’s absolutely beautiful. It’s large, rustic and completes the look of my decor as a focal point in my living room. It’s the first thing people go to and say....”where did you get this?”

Cool item. But after returning one with broken glass, the new one came with a piece of glass just propped up in the center (Was I supposed to take the thing apart and place the glass?) and the side latch wouldn’t close. For $100 I think it should have been complete. Or at least give me an employee discount if I am part of the repairs.

This Lantern is very rustic and stately! Looks absolutely stunning on my fireplace mantel. I'm going to get some remote control battery candles for inside. It's big and good quality.

Overall the look of this Lantern is quite stunning, however as several others have stated about shipping, theirs arrived damaged and/or broken as did the first one I ordered.Amazon packaged my first one in a larger box without additional protection, 3 of the 4 panes of glass were broken (I will post pictures at a later date). The second arrived sadly packaged the same way, the manufacturers box within another oversized box. That was after calling to complain about the first packing job, asking them to please pack it better and mark it as "Fragile" or "Contains Glass". None of that was done.Luckily the second Lantern arrived unbroken, but one of the larger panes of glass was loose inside the Lantern. I was after removing the tin top, able to slide it back into the slot, and hot glue it into place.All the tops of the glass panes are hot glued at the top to keep them from moving around too much, the larger ones just had the corners lightly glued, which had fallen off and was at the bottom of the Lantern when I opened the second one.Also, be forewarned, this is not made with heavy duty wood, so a fall from a normal table height would without doubt, break every pane of glass, and most likely the Lantern itself.Beautiful, but still delicate.Despite this fact, and all the issues I had obtaining an intact one, I would highly recommend the purchase.

The lantern itself was pretty, that's why I gave it two stars. However it was cheaply made and both lanterns arrived damaged. The box itself was not strong enough to ship these lanterns, both boxes crushed on the ends. One lantern had broken glass, the other had a crushed top. I read the other reviews about broken lanterns in shipment but decided to try anyway. Wish I had listened. Not worth the hassle.
