Buy Sanabul Essential Short Sleeve Rash Guard MMA BJJ Wrestling Grappling Jiu Jitsu - Blue, Medium: Shop top fashion brands Men at desertcart.com ✓ FREE DELIVERY and Returns possible on eligible purchases Review: Returned 4 compression shirts before finding Sanabul - I was looking for a short sleeve or sleeveless compression shirt to wear as a rash guard for swimming and scuba diving. I had already ordered and returned shirts from 4 name brand vendors due to either not being happy with the material or the fit (thank goodness for free delivery and return!). I loved the Sanabul look and price (less than most of the others) but was wary having never heard of them before. But having practiced the return process so many times I figured I had nothing to lose and order the purple and black one to match an Oakley bathing suit I recently purchased. The shirt arrived on the day promised. I could see that the color was perfect as I was opening the plastic bag it was packed in. Then I touched the material and it felt great - nice weight; light, but rugged and well made. I shucked my shirt off right in the kitchen and pulled the new one on with the tags intact and my fingers crossed. The material felt amazing on my bare skin and the fit is firm and flattering. I ordered a medium. I'm 5'8" and weigh 144lbs with a 31 inch waist. It's a TINY bit loser in the chest than I would like but otherwise a perfect fit. I loved it so much I ordered a black and blue one the same day to match my dive shorts and wet suit. I can't wait to see how the sharks like it this weekend. Review: Review about the sizes L and XL - TL;DR version - Male. Height: 5'11'. Weight: 215lbs. More fatty than bulky. L fits perfect if you like tight rash guards. XL fits well and should be the option if you don't like very tight cloths. I'm a Jiu Jitsu fighter and bought this Rash Guard to use under my gi. I'm a 5'11' male weighting 215 pounds - more on the fat side than on the strong one. So I wasn't sure if I should by the L - which on description fits my height but no my weight - or the XL - that fits my weight but not my height. So I bought one of each in different orders. First I purchased the XL that fits comfortably goes way below my waist - almost to the legs when stretched - making it very easy to tie it with my pants. The feeling on the body of the XL is slightly loose but it doesn't get off easily, exactly what you expect from a rash guard. It's very comfortable but on my torso I feel there is a little bit of extra fabric. Maybe if I had bigger back muscle this wouldn't happen. So on my second order I bough the L. When I tried it I felt it was the perfect fit. Once again it goes slightly below the waist, to the hip bone. Also easy to tie up with the pants. It's very tight but not uncomfortable on the body so I doesn't get out not a little bit when fighting. If I had to buy again will go for this size.

Incredible Value
I've had this rash guard now for about 8 months, and I could not be more pleased with it. I initially ordered it because it was so cheap compared to other options, and I had only just begun training BJJ. It fits true to size based on the specifications that were shared by Sanabul in the Q&A here. I'm 5'3" & 170 lbs. The medium is perfect. Clings to the body without being too tight. The design is flattering and the mesh on the sides & underarms allows for great ventilation without being see through. If I had to change anything, I would add elastic or some kind of grip around the hem at the bottom. I usually tuck this rash guard into my shorts or leggings before sparring in order to keep it from riding up. I train often & wash it often, but so far, no signs of wear. Most definitely worth what I paid and more.

Best price on Rash Guards period. Be cautious of sizing.
Man I have to hand it to Sanabul for offering this great rash guard at such a low price. Quality is great and material feels very nice. Out of all the Rash guards I own for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) this is not my favorite but it is by far the best value. I have rash guards that I have payed $60 for that I do not like as well as these. Solid buy and I plan on buying more. So why only 4 stars? Well it's the sizing. I wear a size large and while this fits mostly the way it should it is pretty loose in the stomach area. Most of my other Rash Guards of same size fit tight in the stomach. There is no way I could go a size down as it would never fit my shoulders. I have read other reviews stating the same while others claim these are far too tight. Perhaps there is inconsistent sizing? I will order more and report back if they fit any different. Even with the sizing it is still an amazing buy and for the price can live with it. I suggest buying only one at first to see the fit for yourself.

Great basic BJJ rash guard
I've only had this a couple of weeks now, but I'm really pleased with the quality and performance of this rash guard. Perfect amount of stretch, doesn't bunch up when I'm rolling, and is really breathable. Edit 11/17/24: I wear these rash guards 2-3 times a week each and 6 months in I’m happy to report they have held up so well (albeit a little loose due to some weight loss). Just ordered another in a smaller size. I love that they’re slightly looser in the shoulder area while tight enough around the hips to keep from riding up much.

Size XL vs XXL, 6'0" 260 lbs
I am 6'0", weigh 260 lbs, mesomorph build with a "dad gut." I lift two to three times a week, and I do Krav Maga and BJJ a couple times each week. I normally wear an XL t-shirt. Based on reviews, I opted to get the XL rash guard, solid black. It was pretty snug. I told myself I just needed to get used to it. I wore it around the house just to get acclimated. It wasn't completely uncomfortable, and I was sure once I started moving, I would not think about how tight it was. But I decided to buy an XXL (black/purple) a few days later. Perfect! It hugged the body without being distracting. It never rode up on me. After rolling for 2 hours, I never had any problem. No color bleed in either of my shirts. Stitching is flat, so it will not chafe the skin. So far the product is 5 stars--I just had to find the right size.

Seems to be very very high quality
I've been using these for about a month now on a couple-times-a-week basis. Rashguards can only be truly evaluated after a year or so - seeing how they stand the test of time - so cannot give a full review, and will do my best to update later. That being said, these rashguards seem to be very very high quality. Seams and build seem durable and uncompromising. Initially, I wasn't sure if I like the underarm mesh grid, instead of rashguard material, as it is a tad bit more robust- but it seems to be fine and not irritate the skin, as I was concerned it will. Size runs a tad bit larger than usual rashguards - I'm 162cm/5'6" on 72kg/160lbs. Usually wear medium size very very tight. I bought mediums here, and they fit well, but larger than usual - a tiny tad bit loose. I would sum as a good fit overall. Again, from a limited one month experience - very very high quality rashguard for a very good price. Highly recommended, though based only on a month's use time.

Weird fit
I like the material and the feel on my body. Got the right size but the fit on these is extremely weird feeling on the armpits. I know I got the right size and everything because they fit well on my arms and body. Got both short sleeve and long sleeve and both are just weird on the armpit area. Is this just me? I like majority of the stuff I buy from sanabul but I definitely won’t be buying these again. Disappointed.

Fast delivery, excellent product.
6.0, and 180, I think I could have ordered the xxl and even the 3xl and would have fit me perfectly as well. The Large version fit perfect, but I'll feel better with a 2 or 3 xl. Will order more next time.
