Beware !
This product is a FIRE hazard! I put in a bulb ans plugged it in, after a few minutes I started smelling a really strong odor . I felt all over the connections with no results. When I unclamped it from the headboard it was scortching hot. Between the clamps is a box and let me tell you now it was to hot to touch. We had to take it outside to help reduce the odor. As far as being dimmable, its a small knob and when turned to dim the light it just goes off! So much for that idea. I should have taken the hint when I took it out of the box and it had some type of funny symbols (chinese/japanese) on it. this lamp also came with a plugin adapter to make it fit an American plug. Its a piece of Junk. PRODUCT really not up to Amazon standards .

Not made very well
The lamp worked for about 3 weeks. I turned on the lamp and I heard a "pop" and the lamp went out. I tried changing the light bulb twice and it still didn't work again.

Clip Too Small
The lamp was fine but the clip was too small for my 2" deep headboard.
