My all-time French vanilla coffee syrup, sadly I can no longer afford it, but it would be great as a gift or treat once in awhile.

Product arrived quickly. This syrup tastes great in my coffee, and a little goes a long way. I bought the French Vanilla sugar free syrup to save on my coffee addiction, and have a backup when the store is out of my vanilla coffee. I generally mix a naturally flavored vanilla roast with an unflavored medium roast when i brew my coffee, then i flavor it with a packet of Truvia and some cream. Now I skip the Truvia, because the syrup is quite sweet. I try to follow a Ketogenic diet, and got excited when I saw the erythritol in the ingredient list. But I acted a bit fast, because the second to the last ingredient is Sucralose, and I try to stay away from it and Aspartame. I didn't notice it until my bottle arrived. Regardless, I plan to use up the entire bottle, and it still tastes great and contains zero carbs.

Strong vanilla flavor with no calories. I love this syrup. It is sweet and has a well rounded, creamy, true vanilla taste. Chick-fil-a uses this brand of syrup in their iced coffees, particularly this French Vanilla one but with sugar.

No aspartame. No benzoates. Starbucks is the only other benzoate-free brand I've found, but this is more concentrated and cost effective. Makes a better cream soda too. I also tried the Monin sugar free vanilla. It is also very good. French vanilla tastes slightly more caramel and marshmallow. Regular vanilla has a slight cinnamon note. Still good in cream soda but French is slightly better.

This review is for Monin Sugar Free French Vanilla Syrup. I don’t get a sugar free after taste with this brand. It does cost more than the other brands I’ve tried, but worth it to me, in my morning coffee.

Ingredients differ from description and price tag is strategically placed over the ingredients which clearly states that it contains Sucralose aka Splenda — HORRIBLE STUFF for the body! It also contains Erythritol (used in bug killer - also not natural). So if you’re seeking a “natural” syrup without artificial ingredients, this is definitely NOT it! I’m upset that I even tried it and was deceived to believe that there weren’t artificial ingredients. So, if you don’t care about that, you’ll definitely like this as it’s highly concentrated and tastes great. Better than Starbucks but not worth the health risks. I stopped using Sucralose about 6 years ago and it changed my health dramatically. Less pain, fatigue and no cavities. Definitely think twice about using this IMO
