Severe Acne 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Foaming Cleansing Wash, 5 Ounce

I LOVE THIS WASH! I used to use Differin which had 5% benzoyl peroxide. It used to work really well but didn’t get all of my acne and clear my face up completely. This wash is basically the same thing but with 10% benzoyl peroxide and has left my face really clear with less than a week of use. The only thing I will say is that it dries out some of the skin around my cheeks so I would recommend getting a moisturizer if you have sensitive skin but make sure it doesn’t clog your pours. I also use Stridex face pads as a pairing which is also really good. Other than that I would 100% recommend especially if you struggle with stubborn acne around the same areas of your face. :)

I have been using cerave for the longest time but wanted a secondary face wash to really deep clean my skin for my second cleanse. I found this and I have purchased this over 9 times. There have been periods of time where I forget to use it or there’s a lapse in time from when the bottle runs out and I need to get a new one. Each time I stop using it, I can tell that my face starts to look like it’s not getting the best treatment. Then I start using this product and there is an IMMEDIATE difference. It really evens your tone and deep cleans. I get lots of compliments on my skin and I tell everyone (coworkers included) that this product works wonders. It is an amazing product for an amazing value. You can tell it is strong because it smells clean if that makes sense? There is no fragrance so it won’t bother your skin. I just cannot express how much I love this product.

I was recommended this wash by my dermatologist as I have struggled with acne for years. Here are some pros and cons:Pros--Helps with acne, reduced and cleared a lot of my bumps and infections overall, and although it DEFINITELY didn’t solve my acne problem it made it better and at time mores manageable-lasts a pretty long time, especially if you only use the recommended amount- about a little bigger than a pea size daily or twice a day-can also use on your body, and also helped clear some of my backne (back acne) too when I used it in the shower-feels soft and doesn’t exfoliate skin at all really, more of a smooth white cleanser that kinda foamsCons--Stains things if you don’t wash it off fully (as benzoyl peroxide is like pretty strong so it has stained a bunch of my pajamas and towels when I put it on at night)-pretty drying on your face especially if you are aggressive with the wash or if you aren’t used to it at all and don’t ease into it

I find this to be just as good as PanOxyl without the super drying effect and it actually maintains my acne! I have had hormonal pimples, sugar induced pimple and the ones that sit under the skin and won’t let you form a head so it hurts, I also wear a ton of makeup and this has helped me so much. I have been using it consistently for a couple of months now and I have had maybe 3 pimples to pop or try to pop. Would recommend using it but to prevent dryness you need a good skin care routine

This face wash worked very well for my acne, so I’m giving it credit for effectiveness. However, I was very disappointed to learn the hard way that benzoyl peroxide can bleach fabric. It accidentally got on my clothes and caused permanent bleaching, which ended up costing me much more than the product itself.My biggest issue is that I did not see any clear warning on the packaging about this. A product like this should have a very visible warning that it can bleach towels, clothing, pillowcases, and other fabrics.Effective acne wash, but buyers should be extremely careful when using it.
