Very well written book
The thing that strikes me most when reading this book is the clarity in which the content is explained. Though this book caters to the beginner, the authors are still able to offer ways to appease the intermediate to advanced reader. Technical books can be bland if not a bore. This book's read flows seamlessly to that grand intersection between understanding and leisure. I'll be seeking out other material by the authors. Well done!

Not a practical guide... A lot of Flutter Nutter...
If you are looking for a practical guide to jump in and learn quickly how to program in Flutter, then move on. This is not the book for you. This book seems to be talking to people who create computer languages rather than simple programmers who want to learn how to program with Flutter. With over 40 years of programming experience under my belt, and having learned many different languages and technologies using books to teach myself, I doth declare that this book is a huge celebration of intellectual pontification of technical computer terms rather than a simple and practical guide on how to quickly learn Flutter.I am around 30% through the book (in Chapter 4) and there has been very little actual programming going on but there have been a lot of impressive computer programming terms thrown around that might impress the PHD guys at Google who created Flutter. As a simple computer programmer (with a measured IQ of 160), I do not find this book to be a practical guide. For people who create computer languages for a living, you would probably really enjoy this "beginner's" guide.

Everything you need to get started in Flutter and Dart
This was exactly what I needed to get started with Flutter and I had built my own proof of concept application within days of working through this book.Highly Recommended.
