Lawry's Original Spaghetti Sauce Spices & Seasonings Mix, 1.5 oz (Pack of 12)

Love this seasoning! It makes the best flavor for your sauces. I have tried others, and always bk go to Lawrys. I started buying it by the 12 count pkg. Price point is better, and we have Italian at least once a week! For a packaged seasoning, it is right up there using fresh herbs, you just don't have to simmer as long for the flavors! I would definitely recommend!

When I was in college in the early 70s we ate a lot of spaghetti and Lawry’s was the seasoning. Local stores haven’t had it and was thrilled to find it here. Love this stuff.

My 60 year-old lasagna recipe calls for two envelopes of this sauce. Imagine my horror when I could not find it in the stores in my area. Fortunately, it is still being made and sold online. My family would rebel if I used any other sauce in our lasagnas or spaghetti. I never order spaghetti in restaurants because I know it will not be as delicious as Lawry's. I add salt free stewed tomatoes and ground beef to mine. It is so easy, and it tastes like I've been cooking all day instead of 30 minutes.

This is the best spaghetti sauce I have ever had. I prefer it to literally all others. It is savory and is wonderful prepared per package directions, with meat added, or used in recipes calling for spaghetti sauce.

First time trying this item. I wanted something new, something more compact and easy to travel with while I house sat. And a well known brand and a little envelope of seasoning at a little price was a good fit. That said you will need a bit of olive oil in a skillet + water and you're half way there. I added my own vegetables and plant based meat and a little bit of pizza sauce... that I had handy (as well as halving the powder to use at a later time.) What i wasn't prepared for was how tasty it was. It is unlike every jar of sauce (IMO tastes fairly the same) and this tasted like what my Grandma used to make. Just a really nice base. It was NOT salty, greasy or dry...and unlike a jar w an expiration date once opened— this will stay fresh in the envelope for an open ended next time. Really a thumbs up. Give it a try!

I grew up eating this spaghetti sauce mix. My mother made this for us every week and I still love it at 70 years old. I couldn’t find it for the longest time and when I found it I stocked up it is absolutely the best spaghetti sauce in a mix. During the time I couldn’t find it. I tried just about every other one on the market and nothing compares to this, everyone I’ve ever made spaghetti for absolutely raves about my sauce. I add an onion mix when I’m frying up my hamburger I love it. Takes less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend.
