More Ports for a USB Switch!
TLDR: Used with a UGREEN USBC Switch to share my webcam, keyboard, mouse, microphone, and headset between two computers. To connect all of these peripherals, I needed 1x USB-C port, and 5x USB-A ports. The UGREEN USBC Switch only has 1x USB-C and 3x USB-A ports. A need for more ports means I needed a USB hub. This hub looks nice and matches the styling of the switch. More importantly, this hub has the option of being externally powered. I wasn't sure that a single USB-C connection from the switch to a computer would provide enough power for everything including this hub and its peripherals. The option to power this hub gives me peace of mind, and everything works as expected. The single USB-C port on this hub is only used to provide that external power. You cannot connect a device to it and transfer data. No cords are provided with this hub to facilitate that power connection (neither USB-A to -C or -C to -C). It works the way it should. Fast transfer speed for my external drive and stable power for my Stream Deck. No complaints.

Good enough for daisy-chaining
It works as advertised, the cord is plenty long for traveling with my laptop. Due to being optionally powered, it also works quite well for daisy-chaining, which is a win for the price, and if you need more USB ports or hubs.

No USB-C data! Great quality and reliability
I see there is a negative review about the USB-C port not working. The device itself, along with the description, intend to explain this is 5v input only, not for data. I've not used this feature yet but it's nice that it is there if I ever needed to add extra power. "The 5V usb port of the usb hub can offer extra power for this adapter when connecting high power consumption devices like HDD." I am in IT and have installed dozens of these over the past several years. Reliability is important to me since I sometimes have to travel hours just to change out failed components. None have been defective, and none have failed over time so far. Very pleased!

Reliable
If you need a USB 3.0 hub (aka 3.1 gen 1, 3.2 gen 1) which delivers a respectable 5gbps data transfer speed, this will definitely get the job done. Included power input port is a must-have, if you plan to run multiple hard drives or other power-hungry accessories. It does not include a 5V power adapter.

This has been a very good buy for me as I have one USB port on my laptop not working, also my soundcard and wifi is not working, so have had to buy external options, so the UGreen hub has been very useful!

Love it works great
I have an old MacBook Pro with only 2 usb ports. I have all my stuff stored on 2 seperate HDD which make it annoying when I have to ply in another device. This allows to have them newly continually plugged in while allowing additional devices to be plug in at the same time. Love that it had a usb c port to allow additional power to the hub as well. Being using for the last month, no issues I far

UGREENのUSB3.0ハブを2022年11月から使っていますが、今でも全く問題なく動作しています。結論から言うと、安価なのに高性能でデザインも優秀なUSBハブで、とてもおすすめです。 良かった点 コスパ抜群：セール時は1500〜1600円程度で購入可能。2000円未満でこの品質は本当にすごい。 洗練されたアルミデザイン：見た目がスタイリッシュで、薄型なので持ち運びにも便利。 耐久性：2年以上使っても壊れず、アルミボディは傷や汚れもつきにくい。 使い勝手：PS5でも問題なく使用可能。もちろんPCでも快適。給電用USB-Cポート付きで、簡単な充電もできる。 ケーブルが頑丈：網目状のケーブルで耐久性が高く、安心感がある。 気になった点 4ポートは便利だが、接続機器が多い人には少し足りないかも。 → もっとポート数の多いモデルもあるので、用途に合わせて選ぶのがおすすめ。 総合的に見て、この価格帯ではトップクラスのUSBハブだと思います。デザイン、性能、耐久性すべて揃っていて、長く使える製品です。コスパ重視でUSBハブを探している方に強くおすすめします

Depending on the devices plugged in, it says not power delivered and disconnects all connected devices. Sometimes it works well.
