Epson Expression Home XP-3150 Print/Scan/Copy Wi-Fi Colour Printer, Black

We ordered this printer from Amazon and unfortunately the first one delivered was faulty. Amazon quickly replaced the faulty printer with a replacement. The replacement worked perfectly and we are more than happy to recommend both the printer and Amazon. As others have mentioned the lack of instructions in the box is frustrating but there are clear instructions on the website and they are easy to follow. Overall this seems to be a good quality product and should hopefully last for years into the future. The lady that responded to us from Amazon was both polite and understanding. She worked to resolve the problem of the faulty printer and has made us very happy.

I bought this for home use and the print quality is excellent for this. The software isn't straightforward, particularly for scanning. I have it set up with wifi connection and have had occasions when the computer cannot connect to the printer. I have had to reboot everything (Printer, computer and wifi router) to restore the connection.

I found the printer intuitive and easy to use even without the use of a pc or main computer and was able to manage with just my phone and tablet. After following the setup wizards I printed a test sheet and all all was well and having bought this in order to print documents and such needed quickly I found the whole process from ordering to setup to documents in hand in three days (and that's ordering on a Friday).- Decent enough print quality for fair photo realism and it takes more types of paper then I'll ever buy for it.- The scanning and easy bulk duplication is a plus, but remember that using a printer for "photocopies" is far more expensive as true photocopies use a different processes that makes the bulk cheaper.

Printer was purchased to replace my old Epson 405 series, it was easy to install using the online set up process. It comes with easy to follow instructions and a cd if you prefer to set it up manually. The print quality is good and the copy/scanner is easy to do with just one button press. I read most of the reviews before purchasing so I was a little worried with others saying about the difficulty in setting it up. There were a couple of issues while installing but this was due to my internet quality rather than the actual printer.I would recommend this printer as it's cheap and has good fast quality printing x

This is without a doubt the worst printer I’ve ever bought. First of all it was absolutely terrible to connect to wifi there were steps completely missing in the set up manual I had to go on YouTube and find out how to make it work because if you just follow the instructions in the box it won’t work. It took absolutely ages.Second of all, the ink cartridges have such a small amount of ink that you’ll be running out all the time. I’ve had this printer for just over a week, I’ve printed 8 pages, 4 of those were black and white and it’s completely run out of cyan. The ink is very expensive for such a small amount. My previous canon printer used to last ages because it’s not like I use it all the time, my kid uses it for homework only.Third of all, it’s been a week that I’ve had it, and the print head is blocked and needs cleaning already, wasting yet more ink on endless test pages because I’ve cleaned it 5 cycles so far and it’s still not printing a proper test page. I last used it, 2 days ago.Steer completely clear of this printer, I wish I never bought it.

Uses too much ink costs a fortune in buying ink

I bought this to replace an older Epson model that had done me well for a number of years. Id never considered how much ink I was buying, it was never an issue. I've owned this printer since June 2022. I don't print any more now than I ever did (if anything, rather less as I think twice before printing anything now) just address labels, compliments slips, invoices and receipts but not even every day, and have spent £36 per month on ink cartridges ever since. That's over £400. Ridiculous. And infuriating that if you restrict yourself to black and white printing, the black ink cartridge is almost TWICE the price of the coloured inks for the same capacity. The printing's fine, but far too expensive. Every time I order new cartridges I wonder if I wouldn't be better off investing in a new printer (from another manufacturer who, perhaps, is keeping a sharper eye on the amount of plastic waste they're generating).

The printer works fine (so far). The reason for only four stars is due to the convoluted set-up process. I used the supplied disc and everything went fine until I thought everything was finished. But then a message popped up saying it was checking for firmware update. After spending a further 10 minutes downloading and installing the update I thought I was finally finished - but no. Another message popped up to say it was downloading and installing even more software, most of which I will never use. Eventually it was all finished and I was then taken to the website which containe more information which I didn't bother to read as by this time i'd had enough.The only other slight problem I had was that I connected via wi-fi which slowed my computer down to a crawl, but that may be due to a poor wi-fi signal. Otherwise the printer is a decent buy.

Die mitgelieferten Druckerpatronen sind nur für einige wenige Seite ausreichend. Es sind also noch ca. 40 € zu dem Kaufpreis hinzuzurechnen und Druckerpatronen zu bestellen. Darauf sollte bei der Produktbeschreibung explizit hingewiesen werden. Dadurch ändert sich der Preis immerhin um ca.. 40€!
