Diode Dynamics LED Sidemarkers compatible with Jeep JL Wrangler 2018-2023 Amber (set)

When I saw these came out for the new JL Wrangler I knew I had to order them! The amber side lense is very vivid amber and with certain colors for the new Wrangler it just doesn't look right - these do the trick and make the running lights look like a seamless clear all the way around! However let me warn you on the install - even with the included instructions, and the youtube video which all make it seem easy, its not that easy approx. 1.5-2hrs install time and very tight quarters - but let me give you a small piece of advice when installing -Install Tip -1. Buy or borrow a plastic trim tool kit, and make sure you get the needed T29 Torx Bit (make sure its the long handled version or find out how to make it a slim, enlogated version) I used a small ratchet wrench with an extension and put my very small torx bit on and barely made it work2. Take the plastic protective covering off the inside tire well but not the entire thing, just enough to give you room to work on light housing (that's the easy part) and again use trim kit to remove plastic clips3. Use a trim kit tool pick to lift GENTLY the clip holding the side lens plug into place and than slowly pull out plug of all lens - its a small thin wire so be careful!!!4. Here is where I saved sometime and did the second light in less than 20 mins - (1st light took me around 1.5hrs figuring it out) Once you have the plastic trim out of the way (and no need to break the one use only pin on corner of housing off) insert your extended T29 torx bit into corner of housing where side lens screw is and every so lightly pull over the side trim to enable more room - *Once able to start looking screw DO NOT TAKE SCREW ALL THE WAY OUT OF BRACKET BUT PULL LENS OUT FROM SIDE, KEEP SCREW IN HOLE FOR REINSTALLATION5. Instructions want you to almost remove headlight housing to get to side lens screw but no need and a lot of extra work and chance to loose a screw or ruin bracket for headlight - if you can fit a thin attachment with your torx bit into corner where side lens screw is you don't need to do that - and I am proof that works!6. Make sure you insert the screw from side lense housing that you did not remove into new hole of new lens and tighten down securely (you will see it looks like it doesn't fit flush until you really tighten it down ...Hope that helps!! I am a DIYer and had no experience installing things, but i try and learn on the fly - I would say level 2 install here for the novice!Pros -1. Clear lense makes it look like a wrap around clear LED housing2. LED matching front end of vehicle - bright and still a yellow light when on but LED yellow3. Price on part itself - very reasonableCons1. Install can be very tricky if you dont have the right tools!!2. Tight spaces to work in for install,3. Instructions and video dont do any justice to installation

First, make sure you have a good light source before you begin, as you will need it. A headlamp would be ideal.Second, Chris was correct in his review: Avoid removing the #30 Torx screw completely if at all possible (you can still take out the stock side marker without removing it all the way). I dropped the screw, and spent the better part of an hour trying to find, and then retrieve it from the depths of the fender well.Third, anything that is advertised as “easy plug & play installation” probably isn’t 😂Read the instructions, look at the installation video and work slowly and carefully.

Went with clear lights. Nice clean look and quality product. Fairly straight forward install if you have trim tool and torx 30. First light took 20 minutes. Second light 5 minutes. Pictures on instructions could be better and wire on the could be a little longer. Overall very pleased. Note: there is a slight gap between side marker and running light so water will penetrate through.

My two door Wrangler is color Crystal Granitie so almost everythingaround my Jeep is that color with silver parts, well those annoying orangesidemarkers from OEM didn't match with the rest of my Jeep. When I see thoseclear ones after an easy installation... My Jeep looks much more elegant!You guys also have the choice for Black ones too! Recommended

Looks OEM! It gives the lights a wraparound look. Really like the way it looks. This has no added benefit, other than aesthetics. A perfect fit. Unplugging the small wiring harness was a little tricky. Follow the YouTube instructions, and you'll be all set. Great OEM quality lights. Made in USA!

My new driver Son decided to remove this with the side of our garage. He did a good job though. No other damage except the light.Bought this for a lot cheaper than the OEM part and it is an exact match.
