Excellent Work
This might be the best book I’ve ever read on a subject. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD in October and this book is about me and those of us with ADHD. As I read each passage I would say “that’s me”. It’s a life change! It lets me resons why about my past and present and about future solutions for my ADHD condition. This is one of the best books I’ve ever read!

Eye opening
I am so thankful for this book. As someone who has recently learned in my 30's that what I have been dealing with my whole life is very likely ADHD, this book has given me hope. I was looking for behavioral changes I could make rather than seeking the Rx route. It made me more aware of behaviors and patterns that I have. I will definitely be rereading this one.

I really liked this one
This book really clicked with my brain. I like how it was broken down in manageable chunks, sometimes by paragraph. But it was also not super distracting. It made it easier yo focus back on. I liked the information provided and the way that emotions were a big part of what was talked about. While there were some skill suggestions, it was more about what works for you rather than this should work for everyone with ADHD.

I love this book. I listened to the audiobook and thought it was so useful and insightful that I needed a physical copy. If you are someone who is trying to understand ADHD, wether that's you or someone you love. GET THE BOOK!! I understood myself a lot better after reading this. I plan to reread this often for the reminder of the skills I can learn to use on a daily basis until it becomes a habit. My therapist was the one who recommended this. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!

New ADHD dx, helpful resource
Newly diagnosed ADHD and this was very helpful to understand how my brain works. The solve-it grid is such a great tool.

One of my favorite ADHD books I’ve read so far
I listened to this book on tape first and then loved it so much I bought a paperback copy to have always. This book really helped me understand my ADHD and how I got deep into adulthood without having any clue I had it. It also helped explain my complete burnout after a lifetime of overcompensating, overachieving and masking. It was creepy at times how closely the example stories matched actual events or conversations from my life. But I very much needed this content when I received it to be able to understand that I was not broken, just wired differently. I definitely recommend this book, especially to anyone trying to wrap their mind around a fresh diagnosis. It’s really good!

Must read!
Enjoyed reading this book. Lots of great tips if you have adhd or people around you who do. I learned some things I didn’t know and it has helped me be more supportive and understanding to others. I felt like the author knew me she was so spot on with all the behaviors and thinking that happens with adhd
