Perfect! Excellent service!
The author was so great! Because my order from Amazon was running late so the author sent a book out by express mail at no charge! The book is a perfect gift for my daughters family who are all vegan! They loved it and already have tried some of the recipes! I have already ordered and received the author’s Christmas cookie book! I can’t wait to make some cookies!

Recipes Awesome - Download onto Kindle titled and some descriptions distorted
The recipes look amazing and I look forward to trying them this week for arriving guests. The recipes would get a 5 star rating! However, when downloaded onto the kindle devise the lettering in the titles are often jumbled together and the writing in the text sometimes lacks appropriate spacing between letter and words.

Excited to try
I think that a lot of people have a negative outlook on what vegan food is and how it's prepared. More often than not the misconception of how the food won’t taste the same as “regular” dishes. In reality, some of the time they’re even better than the original. I’ve had a few of them myself and it’s interesting to see what is appetizing to me and what isn’t. My oldest daughter is a gravy freak, she absolutely loves to have It on anything. However, we’ve been looking into the fact she may have a gluten intolerance. In this cookbook, there is a recipe that has brown gravy and you can substitute the soy sauce for gluten-free soy. Which is interesting to me for sure. The fact you make it with soy sauce surprised me! I can just imagine it being paired even with the mushroom wellington, mashed potatoes, and the buttermilk biscuits. YUM! Another thing that fascinated me was the fact you can make buttermilk with nondairy milk. I was expecting that making it buttermilk could only be done with dairy due to the fats and whatnot in it. However, that’s not the case. How cool is that? I want to give this a test run and see how it turns out. That would be a game-changer for the majority of my house as we have dairy intolerance as well. With the holidays coming up, this is a book that will be utilized, big time. I enjoyed the beautiful pictures as well as the various dishes. It honestly made me hungry. When I test out any of these recipes, I’ll update my review. I’m so excited!

A Great Guide for Thanksgiving - Vegan or Not
"Vegan Thanksgiving: Dinner and Pies" by Audrey Dunham is a great guide for anyone looking to find a way to help Thanksgiving fit a diet. She has great tips about preparing ahead of time, what to swap out if you are vegan/gluten or dairy-free. I was surprised to find many of the solutions easier than I'd imagined, and ALL of them still maintained the integrity of what we know and love about Thanksgiving.I have one person coming to dinner this year who is dairy-free and have been brainstorming how to make them feel welcome and part of our dinner without feeling awkward. Most of the vegetable sides are fine, but the pies are where I was struggling. Thank you Dunham for helping me feel prepared for my first time in-person hosting since before the pandemic!I'm also looking forward to trying her green beans recipe and the stuffed acorn squash with toasted pecan and pomegranate.
