Good replacement part
Bought this to replace my washer magnetic door spring assembly which broke. It was very easy to install and seems sturdy. It has been about 7 months with no issues.

Arrived as expected.
Arrived as expected. Magnet not as strong as the original one. It does work. Instructions could be better. When installing make sure the hooking parts are placed at 12 & 6 o'clock.

Door plunger magnet
washer door plunger works well as an OEM replacement, it is easy to install, and fits perfectly. The magnet's strength is not the same as the OEM.

Avoids too-strong magnet that breaks plastic
These are breaking because LG used a magnet that was too strong. As you open the door it stresses the plastic retainer tabs and over time it breaks them. The designer of this part avoided that by using a weaker magnet. But it works fine in our machine, just has a more delicate action. It should outlast the original.

Weak magnet wont hold door in place
This part fits perfectly, but the magnet in it is weak. The OEM magnet would hold the door in place so that you could "prop" the door open when the machine wasn't in use. This one the magnet isn't strong enough, so the door keeps swinging open. I will be returning and trying a different part.
