Disclosing solution was recommended to me years ago by a periodontist in a different brand that you can’t find anymore so I ran across this , and this works pretty good for me. You can brush your teeth and use it afterwards to see what you missed and that shows how your flossing I personally like to use it before brushing. I use it then floss to make sure I get everything off my teeth before I brush that way I know I did not miss anything. If you have gum problems, this is a sure way of making sure you don’t miss any plaque, which obviously is invisible. I would highly recommend this product .

I've seen reviews about this that were not the best. Several complaints about how it stains everything. I've been using this for at least 10+ years. Use it nightly. Great product. Helps to see every bit of plaque, so I can get it all off with floss & pick & brushing. Have had radiation for cancer in my mouth area, which affected my teeth and made it very important to keep them very clean.I've had no problem with staining anything. It will wash off. If it's staining your teeth- that's plaque. Brush it or use a dental pick at the gum line to get it and the plaque out.I'm a huge fan of this product and this is a good price.

Specifically recommended by our dentist. He was really clear and told us to go to Amazon, and look up trace specifically so that we could help our kid learn to hit everywhere when he brushes his teeth. I've used it myself, and it works.Be careful to spit this into the water, it can leave a pink residue that is tough to get out if you don't see it immediately.

I followed the drops under the tongue, and I couldn't remove the spots for several weeks and whitening toothpaste.I bet this is perfect for a professional dentist or hygienist. But they have different tools than a toothbrush.The dental assistant who told me to use this in her opinion wasn't qualified to give me an opinion anyway. Oh well! It took a month, but the stains are gone after the Crest 3D whitening mouthwash. I almost spent $$$ getting them professionally cleaned and paying for the necessary bleach regularly,I will not use this anymore since I do not have the tools that hygienists have.

As a retired dental hygienist, I cannot tell you how valuable a bottle of disclosing solution is for helping people understand what proper plaque removal requires. I was lucky to be part of a brushing program in elementary school and will never forget how eye-opening it is to learn that you missed so much plaque. This is a great value to help you take better care of your teeth and gums.

We received this with no outer packaging or instructions for use. It seemed like it was part of a bulk order that had been separated from the package. Although I was able to use the produce correctly, it was not helpful for my son and he was unable to make it work using q-tips or using the droplets on his tongue - made more of a mess than anything else. I might recommend the tablets instead - a much cheaper alternative.
