Detroit Axle - Front 13pc Suspension Kit for 01-10 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD

In the beginning all fit well. The mechanics shop had no problems it aligned good. But the parts should last a lot longer. Put on in 2020 and all the parts are loose have to be replaced could not get new aligned again. Will not buy again. I would advise going oem. I have another truck and had oem installed and it's lasted 8 years no problem.

Junk broke right away within a month and two weeks try getting a refund they said no there’s no warranty on the stuff I do not recommend this. Please buy somewhere else. What a waste of time and money.

Parts quality and fit were good. Only thing I didn't like is the upper control arms have no zerk- sealed units. May be for the best- time will tell. Everything else can be greased. 3 slot pitman arm- all went on without a hitch. Control arm bushings are a tight fit- use lube and a shop press- no problem. *note- this kit saved me a bundle. I intend to replace whatever wears out first with higher quality parts- if it comes to that, but like I said- truck driven infrequently.

The pitman arm was missing from my order. The mechanic had the box and and didn't discover it missing until it was too late for a return. Update: The pitman arm was missing and I didn't know it until the return date was over because it was over a month before the shop could get my truck in. The shop sold me a new one. Detroit Axle just offered to send me one and apologized for it missing, but I already have a new one. I appreciate that they were willing to bend the rules to make it right.

I liked this kit, loved the fact that everything has grease fittings. Perfect fit for my 03 Chevrolet 2500HD Duramax

The whole kit was a direct bolt on did not have any missing parts or bad castings or dimpled metal that could be fatigued easily in the future. The kit was as described on the website. The whole process from star to finish took about 8 hours the longest was for the lower ball bearings; but that was due to mine being seized in the knuckle. Only issue i found was that if this was a project for a first timer it did not come with a packing slip or a directions sheet; and the individual parts were not marked again only an issue for a first timer. For the mechanically inclined it was easy to identify.

You get what you pay for. There is a reason why it is cheap. The control arms have a none grease-able ball joint and are not built as strong as the oem arms. The sway bar link bolts were too long, had to use the old bolt with the new bushings. The tie rod ends are too long. Either the inner rod has too long of threads or the outer is not threaded enough in the inside. This causes my tires to not be able to ride straight. I will have to buy better tie rods locally in order to align my truck. I would not recommend this kit for anyone with a 2500HD.

This kit fits perfectly onto a 2008 chevy 3500hd dually, I highly recommend.
