Excellent air nailer. Compact, EZ to load and use. Perfect. Great value !! 5 Stars ,indeed.
I like this new air nailer alot. Well packaged, complete with safety glasses , bottle of oil, wrenches. It was "shovel ready" from the minute I hooked it up to my compressor. It drives nails cleanly through heavy asphalt shingles. Quiet and easy to use. Fits my hand and my crews hands , with gloves on , perfectly. EZ adjuster.I am a professional contractor, I select and buy all my tools. I bought this nailer, no "promo" or freeby from them.Perfect. I give 5 GREAT STARS for this nailer for Value. Price point is important on my contracting jobs.I had a older yellow nailer that was leaking air and needed a rebuild. That meant 2 - 3 weeks out of service while repairs were conducted. No Way !!I need a good working gun. So I bought this instead of frigging around.. Good choice to go new , and not wait for repairs to my old , heavy , clunky ,yellow gun. I am very pleased and am not afraid to bounce it around on the roof , orin back of the truck at days end.TOOL FREE EZ depth adjuster , right on the front , is ideal. instant depth change!! Nice.I tried this gun from 80 psi to 110 psi , and it worked great in all settings. I like to use it at 80 psi. Runs a long time and the compressor doesnt have to breathe so hard.Yes, I am a happy roofer with this new nailer. Very satisfied and would buy another in a second. Great value.3 PLUS tools has a great air nailer. Thank you 3 PLUS and AMAZON for fast , free shipping to myremote location on the Maine coast. Eastport , Maine

Newbs, this is for you!
Bought this because I wanted to shingle my shed and wood shed myself. Great investment. It worked perfectly and didn’t let me down. Highly recommend for the DIYer and guys who are using it for a project or to learn.

Good but not great
I used this to roof my house. I used 1 3/4 inch nails. The gun worked but I had to fine tune about 50% of the nails.I think it would do better with 1 1/2 inch or less nails. I should note I will keep the gun as a very good gun wouldcost $250.

Worked flawlessy for small project
I'm building a new shed (solo) and didn't feel like pounding nails, as this has already drug out longer than I'd like. I'm a novice at roofing, but have done a few small jobs (previous shed, wood pile cover, etc) Now when I say shed, I'm looking at 12x16, not something to store a couple rakes and a string trimmer. So the roof is about 224 square feet total. I looked at Horror Freight and their comparable nailer was about the same price, but I also know their "quality" and didn't want to deal with potential issues, I just wanted to get this done.I drove a few 1-1/4" test nails at around 110psi to check depth and get a feel, and started at it. Never had a jam, last nail always ejected out, so you knew you needed a new coil. I never tried the single fire trigger, and only had a double tap twice. Both times it was user error. If you're just bumping it along, no issues. It's when you do the "not sure" hit that it bites you - hit it like you mean it, and you'll be good.I did not have the issues that some have reported here fortunately. Did not have to oil excessively or break it in - worked great out of the box. I did not have any nails fire when connecting the air hose, but they do warn you that could happen.Loading was easy, and went as expected. Check the depth setting on the coil plate - sometimes it would shift and cause problems getting everything back in action after reloading.Seems a bit heavy, but then again this is my first one so I don't have much to compare it to, other than my Hitachi framing nailer (love that thing). I would hate to lug that thing all over a house roof though. I dare say they're close in weight, but I have not done a side by side comparison.Biggest gripe: Why the F did you make the nail coil height plate and cover out of plastic? The rest of it is built really solidly (hence the weight), but the part that you're going to constantly be messing with you made out of plastic? The part that sticks out the most and is going to get busted first time you drop it is plastic? C'mon man...

Works with these nails :
I used it to build a picket fence with the nails from Amazon with no issues . I used these ones :findmall 3600 Count 1-3/4-Inch x .090-Inch Ring Shank 304 Stainless Steel Siding Nails 15-Degree Collated Wire Coil Nails for Wood Siding or Fencing ApplicationsAccording to AI from Amazon those nails were not supposed to fit but they do fit and work with no issues . I used the complete box of 3600 nails and just ordered another one to finish my fence .

Great deal for a roofing nail gun
Bought this to reroof my shop. Installed 13 square of shingles and not a single misfire. I used coiled nails I bought from home depot. Far better to buy this than rent for 40+ a day.BTW is survived 2 falls off the roof 12 ft to the ground. Once to asphalt and once to the lawn. So it's pretty durable.

Bad product
The nail gun jammed with a nail stuck in the barrel mechanism after only a couple hours of use. This was inevitable with multiple misfires, nails fumbling out of the side, double feeds and bent nails in my fence. Taking it apart to clear the jam may have taken longer than the time in use so I stopped after about an hour of trying to clear it. I was only able to complete about 1/3 of my job on the fence before the jam. Waste of my time in returning it and ordering a new one. I also adjusted the air pressure several times to attempt to resolve the issues. The box in arrived in appeared like it was taped and repackaged.Update, bought the new yellow nail gun in the Pic from Amazon to finish the job. It worked like a charm. No hang ups at all. See the finished job too.

Good gun, Highly recommend it.
Updates:3/8/24 (some user's error lol)There was a few shot were blank, but i think it have to do with the coil nails as it is missing from the "firing chamber" and the next nail didn't advance to the chamber. (Make sure the nail coil isnt bending)Another UNRELATED thing is sometime, it doesnt have any air pressure while was due to leaky hose and leaky quick disconnect. So check your air hose. The gun is fine after changing the air hose.I did 1600 sq ft of roof so far with it.Overall, excellent nailer for the price.*******************old review *******Good gun, no misfire so far.Initially I didn't know it was default as bump trigger so it fires a few shot together very fast. (My mistake)I highly recommend testing it on a piece of wood first to get a feel of how to use this nailer. Will need a few shot to adjust your speed. First lift and bump on another location (while still holding the trigger).
