Three prongs that you can use to expand the collars circumference . I had taken two out when we first got the collar due to my dogs size. They have gone missing and I needed to re-expand the collar now that he is bigger. You need to pinch the prongs to open them up and attach them to each other. This way they fit in the sockets without coming loose.A bit pricey though.

I needed an extension for my puppy’s first training collar but didn’t want to buy an entirely new collar. I actually prefer the smaller collar which has smaller links and more prongs. These prongs fit right into her existing collar and made it so it fits properly since she has grown. The quality of metal seems to be the same as the original, the strength it takes to pinch to remove the links is about the same as well. They are not more flimsy. It is easy to put on and take off. These collars are VERY effective in teaching my strong and growing Lab pups how to properly be sensitive and not just muscle through their leash time. 10/10 would recommend these collars and the Herm Sprenger brand.

I had to order these because my dogs collar was fitting just a little bit tight. These are a great quality as all Herm Sprenger products. I definitely recommend having a few extra of these around just in case you lose one. This color has definitely helped with training. Our bully breed strong dog we have since we entered her off the prong collar, but continue to go back to it as needed. It is easy to use and functional.
