Frosted Glass Window Privacy Film, Static Cling, 35.4" x 78.7"

Love this film! It's so pretty and easy to set up. I can open the blinds and light can come in but people cannot see in. I needed 2 pieces to fit my window vertically since the roll wasn't wide enough. Worked great, this is my 2nd roll.

Super cute and easy to put on. It doesn’t cast any crazy, bright rainbow reflections like I was hoping but the light shining through gives it a nice glow during the day. Instructions are clear to follow, application takes less than 10 minutes. Worth the price; based on the other privacy films I have, it really lasts a long time (been about 2 years now).

Easy to apply and holding up well. Looks really nice and classy. I'm using in my bathroom as people from outside could see in on the bottom half of the window. For application I suggest cutting with scissors to the exact size before applying. I had to use a razor blade to make a fine adjustment and that area didn't cut well. The edge is a little jagged (likely due to the texture and how the razor blade cuts). The area cut with scissor looks perfect. Also use an adequate amount of water when applying. Start on one edge and slowly apply. After using a flat edge to push any air bubbles out it should look good. So far the film as stayed attached to the window very well. Thickness seems about right. Not too thin and not too thick. Very pleased.

This works great! Im an overnight worker so I used this to cover my windows so I can sleep without daylight shining into my eyes. Easy to install and blocks light perfectly!

Works great. Perfect for letting the light in but no one can see inside. Easy to put on the windows.

Great option for added privacy. Used for our glass shower door. You can see the difference in the picture before I finished it. The only tricky part was cutting around the handle. Wish I could have done that better but overall we are pleased. Looks nice. Definitely spray your surface with water before applying.

Update less than 12 hours after application to one window according to directions ... 1/3 of product is no longer stuck to the window. Resulting in removing two stars. Less I can figure out another way to get the product to stick since following the directions hasn’t worked 100%. Wondering if it’s due to having an older 1900’s house. I’m going to try with the replacement windows. Had SO much hope in the product concept. Wish I had a five star experience as other users have! ——— While searching for potential products to obscure views besides frosted paint I searched products such as this. Sometimes I add stuff to my cart. Then, either save for later, stash on a list, delete, or order. Having decided to make space to do the project. Welp, ooopppps! Accidentally pushed the wrong button. Wouldn’t allow me to cancel. Soooo, a couple days later ‘Viola’ two rolls show up. Was gonna wait due to finding out I’d be getting new windows the day I was shopping for something to help with a few windows. Decided there’s ample opportunities to use this is why I kept it. Anyhow, today, upon hanging one panel in a window am posting a review. Pros, Cons, and why the star count. Loss of stars for messy installment necessity. Tips and edges don’t easily remain stuck. Sparse instructions. Support of other reviewers who relate to the struggle with the product and no way to fix it. This review is in your honor and to assist future users. Pros: Obviously, obscures viewing while allowing light into the space desired. Ability to cover multiple standard window sizes. Price comprarable or slightly better than big box stores. Cons: instructions are void details. Instructions with multiple languages is helpful to confusing a lot of nations. If you’re not savvy about the nuances you’ll deal with attempting to install this product you’re gonna get pissed, frustrated, and offer a crappy review if you even bother. Already feeling as though this product has robbed you of your valuable hard earned money, time, and sanity. TIPS: to assist IF the seller adds details to the few current steps. To buyers whom desire the benefit of this product for the ease of receipt from amazon. Recommendations: although most people don’t having Dr Bonner’s soap. My chosen brand for this project. Dawn dish soap would be a better choice. It’s sticker. I’m using it on further installation on other windows. Have a plastic putty knive. It’ll give the best spread. Also, having a 10 inch really does the trick. While spreading the soapy water inside. Having the handle makes for a nice even smooth push, spread, even wider movement then a credit card which frankly is a pain in the butt for the width of this installation. Wider edge = happy user. Have a flat surface to lay the precut product on. Spread the soapy water on the product. Rather than the window. Use a modest amount. You’re gonna need it. Make sure to apply to the textured side. Have paper or regular towel spread along the bottom of the windows. Have extra ready to clean up the mess you will make. A wash cloth works great for this part. Having a clean dry rag to use over the application once you’ve applied, used putty knife, and wipe up the corners will help gently continue to apply pressure to the product. You may, depending on your windows, have edges of the film that simply won’t stay down. I’d suggest, when everything’s dries, adding a little water to some Elmer’s and rub it on the edge with your finger. Then, use the putty knife to push from inside toward out. Use your finger, the clean one, and have a wet rag to wipe your finger of the glue. Plus, you’ll wanna clean away any spill over on the window. Or, it’ll leave that Matt Elmer film. Now, about the putty knife motion. When you apply the product you’ll see lots of inconsistencies between it and the window. Here’s a method for even spreading of the stuff on the product between the window ***Oh yeah, special note, reminder again, use the bumpy side on the product toward the window. Not the slick side.*** While holding the product in place, at the top, start in the middle. Lay the putty knife on the product. Push toward the window edge side down. Then up. The product will move if you need to realign it slightly. Then, putty knife middle to other side.Continue this until you’ve oozed the soap and water out. As though your squeeging water off your windshield. Basically move from middle to edge. Ensure edges still line up. Keep moving soap and water out of the sides. This will also help seal the product to the window. If you did a great job precleaning the window, the now cloud cover should be spotless. If not, quickly peel away. Remove the hair or debris that may be trapped. I’d recommend res-soaping and redoing the process to ensure sticking. By now you’re a pro so no fear you’re screwing up! Just do it! If you have older windows, like me, that haven’t been replaced yet. Razor blade any paint around the edges. Prior to install. If there’s ANY debris, paint, dirt this product won’t stick. Then, use the Elmer’s trick. If you forgot, or don’t care about how you get the edge to stick. I’m not certain how this product holds up in all weather. If it falls off or becomes a problem I’ll update. Four stars ease of use. As far as it obscures the view from people outside. Currently four stars for durability to to edges coming off window refusing to install. Requiring some other means of application. If not updated within the four seasons from now, July 2018 and next year, July 2019 you know it’s working okay for how I need it to. One star for ease of install. Honestly, worst product install due to the instructions I’ve ever had. Given I’ve got decades of tooling and DIY experience this says something. The everyday shopper should have a simple ease of installation. Currently, this is limited. It’s a very helpful product overall for what it’s meant for. No reason we shouldn’t have 4 and 5 stars across the board with a few updates on how to anyone can understand. Sincerely hope this inspires others to make this work for you!

Make sure you measure the whole area you want to use it in before buying if you want it to look how its supposed to. We noticed a lot of people just turned it sideways to make it fit but we didn't like the look of it that way. We wanted it how it was supposed to be so we bought the widest roll so that we could do so. The diamonds line up just fine as long as you get the width you actually need and not a roll that is too narrow for the whole area. We used this in our kitchen window, as well as some accent windows in other parts of the house. Our kitchen faces west so it usually heats up really bad in the summer. We have used curtains in the past but as I am allergic to dust accumulation it would get old having to vacuum curtains weekly and wash them monthly for all of my adult life. After learning about window privacy film we have switched to it for the whole house and donated all of our curtains. We haven't looked back and only wish we had learned about this stuff years ago! We did purposely leave a space to see out along the top of the lower windows so that we can still see the front yard and porch when needed. But overall I can't say enough good about this stuff! It's easy to work with and apply, it sticks how its supposed to, with static cling, but can easily be removed and moved around with just a spray of water without leaving any kind of residue behind. Has a nice thick feel to it without being too thick. Very durable and forgiving when trimming. Easy to get different types, colors and styles to fit whatever your tastes and your rooms themes happen to be. We have bought a few different types of window film and love them all. Most of them sold by Rabbitgoo. A couple sold by others. Different colors and styles for different rooms. Our kitchen now stays cooler than it did with thermal blackout curtains, and has much more light coming through during the day. Making it more enjoyable. All of that aside, I love just not having to spend the time each week on curtains and the soap washing them! A great investment and money saver in the long run for us. We are never going back to curtains.

Very easy to install, unfortunately I must have made a mistake in my measurements, but it's not so noticeable. When the light hits it, it creates a rainbow effect in the room and it's very pretty. It's quite bright during a sunny day. At night, and with lights on, it doesn't offer absolute privacy, but someone has to be very close to our window and try hard to actually see us. Overall, I am happy with it!

The delivery is only one item

We purchased 4 rolls for windows in family room - two side panes and a large middle pane that required joining two rolls. We cut the rolls first to have the correct length and in the case of middle windows , width. If you make sure you measure accurately and then use a long metal ruler and sharp exacto knife it will go very easily. Measuring and trimming took longer than applying to windows. Application was very easy with two people. Used spray bottle with a bit of kitchen soap added to water. Used an Ikea bathroom squeegee and credit card to remove bubbles. On the very last pane we had an issue with getting a portion of side and bottom to adhere. Turned out that when I pulled off the backing plastic , a small L shaped piece had not not come off - as soon as that was removed there was no problem. (We couldn't see this was still on, so only figured out by feeling smooth surface). The window is now opaque so cannot see out, but light still comes in. I had hoped that glare would be eliminated so that the t.v (right across from windows- 180) could be watched without closing the curtains. It has helped a little bit (lessened) but there is still some glare on t.v especially with dark tv pictures. Video-games will likely need curtains closed. Overall a great product at a great price - for privacy. Should have known was not a solution for glare, but wanted to try to have some light still coming in. Will likely buy the decorative versions for some other projects.

Absolutely love it. Super easy to apply. Perfect for a rental property as you just spray water on your window glass to make it stick. Easy to cut, nice and thick good quality. So pretty to wake up to and absolutely love the rainbow it casts through direct sunlight.

Muy lindo el diseño, fácil de instalar, su transparencia es discreta aunque como instale en una puerta por la mañana si me llega el sol, pero lucen muy bien, ya no hubo necesidad de poner cortinas .
