It gets 4 stars mostly for what you get for the price you pay.The cameras are excellent. I have the 960P and they are very good quality. Just know that they still need power. I purchased a 4 pack of Power/BNC cables for about $25. You just don't need the BNC. I also put the cameras farther away from the NVR than the wireless would work, so I ran cat 5 and hard wire networked the cameras.The NVR is decent. The recording quality is excellent, but the interface is just OK. The web portal is usable to view the live images, but you have to watch recorded video in real time, which does no good if you're trying to review or find a specific event. Downloading the video works better, but you'll have to install a program that works with the video format. I use VNC to watch the videos.The instructions are very basic and not very informative if you want to go beyond the initial setup. There were no instructions to hard wire network the cameras and it took me some time to figure that one out.Support for the one question I had came within 24 hours, though I had to do a lot of searching to find their email address. Their website is also bare bones and does not have much more information.Sound like a lot of cons? 4 stars is for a recording NVR, 1TB hard drive, camera power cables for ~$300. Pretty good deal if you're willing to live with those cons.

Had to send it back. Could not get one screw loose so a hard drive (which is not included) could be installed. Fairly worthless without a hard drive.

I can no longer can view my cameras. I am connected to the internet with good signal, but it's saying IPC disconnected and No Video. I have unplugged it and plugged it in again but still get the No Video message.

I am happy to have this system to help protect my family. It works well and serves its purpose. However I have forgotten the password and am unable to access my system.. I have emailed the company several times about how to do a factory reset, and either received unclear instructions, or no response at all.

I love the cameras and video quality is amazing. Easy installation without trouble. I'm able to view my cameras when I'm way from home, it is awesome!!!!

Works well. Good picture. One power supply didn't work and I just replaced it with a generic one.

Easy basic setup. Just connect power to cameras & NVR, connect NVR to monitor, you can see the view from all cameras right away. No pairing is required. Adding hard drive to NVR also simple. If you don’t need 24 hour continuous recording, any retired SATA drive from you desktop PC is fine. You may have trouble for email notice setup if you’ve never done email SMTP server setup before. Build quality seems good. For remote viewing with Android phone , both IP Pro & EROCAM app work and setup is easy too.Pros:Good quality, easy basic setup. Fast email response for support.Cons:No detailed installation guide. The one comes with the package is not much useful. You need to google or send email to ask support. A detailed guide (screen shot & explanations for each menu) should be provided to ease the setup difficulty. Now the guide on their web is same as the one in package.Cord between camera/NVR to AC adaptor is too short as some other customer pointed out. You need to buy extension cord to avoid putting AC adaptor on wall. This adds your total cost.Using SMTP server sending email is not convenient and Yahoo/Google mail issues warnings about un-safe app accessing your account. Not like Lorex, no need for SMTP server setup, just add email address to which you want to send mails.Only one USB port, not supporting backup hard drive through USB port like some other products.Some useless menu (like alarm setting) causes confusion.
