Great lights! They are solid, seem to seal very well (description claims they are waterproof, which I haven't tested but totally believe - there seem to be some rubber silicone sealing the threaded battery lid). Each one comes with a remote control, each remote control has batteries, however the lights do not come with AAA batteries - you'll need 12 total AAA batteries for 4 of them. Which is reasonable - I have many of AAA batteries at home, and they are easy to get right, and some people may install rechargeable batteries straight away. The most important is that the remote cones with a battery which is really convenient, because it is harder to get the right not-so-popular batteries for remote, and remotes would not discharge as often as lights. So very reasonable.The lights are not perfect - a few colors are not as vivid as they could be, for instance, green - but that's the limitation of LEDs used; it is not guaranteed you'll find a perfect one with the number of LEDs being used. But that's okay. It is all still pretty good, especially for the price and build quality. Also, I wish color change mode was a bit smoother and a bit slower, but that's also not a deal breaker for me. The light itself is a bit sharp/bit too bright, if you are going to look at these lights directly from a close distance, you may want to cover the top with some frozen glass tape.All that being said, I am purchasing these second year in a row and planning to do the same the next year. I use it as part of the annual poker tournament trophy at my home game. What people love is that they get the medal, and a stand with a light, and a remote, and it looks great on their bookshelves and serves as a nightstand. Check out the photos! What's included is 4 spotlights without AAA batteries, and 4 remotes with batteries.

I purchased 32 of these and did some testing. With one color on I got well over 24 hours of bright light. On one set of batteries (good quality) we ran a purple color for a Christmas dance for 5 hours. Then with the same batteries the following week did another 5 hour Christmas dance with no signs of the lights dimming. They were also under water during the time used with no issues. Note, the lights in the back ground along the walls are not these tea lights. The light from these tea lights were great for the table decorations we did, but not near bright enough to light a room. The remote control made it great to turn the lights off and on without having to reach into the decoration. Side note. Each 4 pack comes with 4 remotes, one remote works all lights even from other 4 packs. Except I had one set of lights (purchase at a different time) that had a different style remote. It would only turn on the 4 lights it came with and the lights would only work with that remote. So if you get a bunch of these make sure the remotes all match, if not you'll have to remember which remote goes with which lights. We thought we had 4 bad lights until we figured out we had the wrong remote for those lights. So overall these 32 lights all worked and did a perfect job for what we needed. No failures at all, and very happy with the end results.

Received these yesterday was pleased with the light quality wanted to use them for my outdoor Halloween decorations really wanted the remote controlled with timer access so I didn't have to go out and shut each one of them off individually unfortunately the timers did not work properly when pressing the two hour it blinks twice, 4 hours it blinks 4 times, 6 hours it blinks 6 times but shuts off in 15 minutes tried both remotes got the same results. unfortunately there's no directions in the box, have to assume I'm doing it right if you need it with the timer which I do would not recommend

I purchased these to make bucket lights for camping and Halloween hay rides.They are well made, the lights are build strong and I feel will last a very long time. There is a silicone o-ring not rubber, which means it will last a very long time and maintain it's waterproofness. After feeling the build quality and the silicone o-ring. I would have no issue with throwing these in my pool.The pack comes with 4 lights and 4 remotes, I thought 1 remote would control only 1 light. But to my surprise a remote can control all of the lights. So for my needs, this meant I have 3 back-up remotes. Since I am putting these in 5 gallon white buckets. I was anticipating that I would have to remove the lid from the bucket to control the light with the remote. Again I was surprised that I could control all 4 buckets or one at a time, while not removing the lid of the bucket. I didn't expect the IR detector on the lights to catch the signal from the remote.The light is bright and does its job. I removed 1 star because I noticed that while playing with the different effects (flash, strobe, fade, smooth), some of them didn't work or was the same effect.For example:Strobe: white flashing lightFlash: RGB light flashingSmooth: Same as flashFade: fades through all colors.To be fair, I only was trying this with 1 remote. So maybe it was a bad button on the remote. I have no idea, and really don't care all that much. I will only have these on a solid color or fade. The other 2 effects are too intense for my needs.All in all, I am very happy with my purchase and will more then likely buy more for jack-o-lanterns, the pool deck, or some other crazy thing I think off. They are a great quality for the price and I am happy with my purchase.

I love these lights. They light up the inside of my pool keeping the area safer for when we have guest. I love that I can change the colors remotely. They are a great value. I would recommend these.

Edited review: Customer service was phenomenal, they reached out and we were able to solve my problems. My review has been changed to reflect this. I appreciate any company willing to work out issues with customers and provide solutions.These were super bright and looked great when I first used them, but unfortunately they are not water proof as claimed. After less than a week of use some were dim, and another one of them stopped working all together. It would come on at random times and stopped responding to the remote. Would be fine in a dry environment, but can't be used as advertised.

Worked for about a day , after that dead. Used in pool one night took out left out of water dead when I tried again.

These lights are perfect for decorating for halloween and more! Great for pumpkins, but can be used for pretty much anything.

We bought these lights for our frame pool. I don't know why it comes with four remotes, you only need to use one. The modes aren't that great, the disco mode I thought would be fast flashing with multi colors. It just slowly fades in and out with only white lights. The colors are ok, pink and purple I found the weakest. They are water proof, we have left them in the pool and they have never gotten wet inside. 5 stars for being water proof. They sink however, they don't float, so if your looking for lights to float on the water, don't get these. With all four in the pool 16' around by 4' deep they do light it up. The only real issue we had, once we put them in the pool, the remote no longer worked. Too far away, too much water interference, I don't know? But in order to turn them off or change color, we have to collect them up and take them out of the pool, then put them back in. The remote needs a stronger signal or something? In their defense, they aren't meant for pools. Overall $20 for 4 is a pretty good deal, and we would probably purchase again.

I assumed there would be a suction cup to attach to the side of the pool.
