Ostrich the Deluxe 3N1 Reclining Lounger, Relaxing Beach Chair, Blue

a great beach chair upgrade! lightweight and comfortable!

I purchased this Ostrich chair for use on the beach. It has pros and cons, but overall, I LOVE it. I'm 64, 5'3" and about 150 lbs. The pros are that this chair has arms, and it sits up higher than many reclining beach chairs. Thus, it's easy to get in and out of. I also love the cushion for the back of the head, and the lumbar cushion. The lumbar cushion is adjustable up and down so it can be postioned just right. The chair can adjust almost to a zero-gravity position, which is also great if you're prone to back issues. Finally, I like the cupholder and pouch. The cupholder holds a standard can or insulated cup securely. The pouch is great for phone, kleenex, sunglasses etc. I get quite a few compliments every time I use this chair. These are the cons: (1) The chair is not SO heavy that I can't carry it from the condo to the beach, but it IS heavier than other chairs I've owned. (2) It's also kinda big for the beach wagon, but it fits if arranged "just so". (3) It cannot be strapped to your back, (4) Once folded, there's a carry hole carved into one of the armrests. But if you carry it by gripping that hole, the chair doesn't stay folded and the little pouch drags the ground. We fixed this by securing the folded chair with bungee cords and tucking the pouch. In conclusion, my biggest requirements for a beach chair were comfort, back support, and ease of getting in and out of it. I didn't want a chair that was low to the ground. The Ostrich chair meets those requirements so for me, the Pros far outweigh the Cons.

Absolutely love these chairs so comfortable

If I could I would give this a 0 star rating based on both the quality of the chair but also the customer service. I bought 2 chairs which were delivered in 2 separate boxes. The boxes had several holes and cracks in the chair. Pieces of the boxes were all in my yard after delivery. I watched the delivery guy bring the boxes and realized the boxes were already this way when they were on the delivery truck. The delivery guy did not mishandle the product, at least from the truck to my door. I only opened one box and pulled out the chair to take a look at it. I noticed right away the poor quality of the chair. There was stitching in the middle of the seat where there was no seam. The chair is difficult to maneuver into different positions, especially the foot rest. I did not need to open the other box because I had decided to return the item. I had to take the return to FedEx. The company Spreetail sent me a label for my return but only sent me one that included the 2 chairs. Again, the chairs came in 2 separate boxes. I had to pay the fee for the boxes to be taped together so that they both could go under the 1 label sent to me. Then I was charged a restocking fee because Spreetail informed me that the chair could not be resold due to the condition it was in and that it was used. I submitted a return the day I received the chair and returned it to FedEx the next day. I informed them that I never used the chair and the poor quality is how they sold it to me. I can only assume Spreetail knows that they have such a bad product that the only way they can make a profit is to charge a restocking fee. They refused to give me a full refund. I would not recommend this chair to anyone.

Like the chairs and their features/size. The quality is a bit cheap for the price though. My guess is they won’t last but maybe a couple of summers at best. If you are heavier set u would not suggest them as I’m only 150lbs and the leg rest feels like it may not last too long

I was hesitant to buy this chair based on some of the negative reviews, I spent hours looking....but I am really glad I took the chance! This chair is so comfortable and has everything I wanted and more! I am 5'4" and 120 pounds, this chair fits me perfect...my knees don't fall in the gap when on my stomach, my calves sit perfectly on the lower leg support and the extra padding makes it very comfortable-even if you're taller I still think this chair would be comfortable. The back pillow support and head rest is, again, very comfortable. I wanted the chair that did everything...face hole for tanning, multiple adjustments for lounging, arm rests for comfort, etc. The cup holder and pouch on the other side are great additions. The pouch has 3 pockets: 1 can hold another drink, smaller pocket for cell phone, etc and a zipper pocket for valuables. The back rest has 5 positions adjusted by simply lifting the arm rests up and sliding into position which is great because you don't have to get up to move the back. The foot rest has 3 positions adjusted by a plastic swivel bracket you pull in and out and lock into the slot, you do have to get up to adjust this part.(this is the only part I worry about breaking since it's plastic) You can lay totally flat, straight up or anywhere in between. I saw many reviews about the quality and while I will say I don't want my 240lb son sitting in it, it feels stable and seems like taken care of properly will last just fine - but I have only used once to date since I just got it. Has a convenient carrying strap and hand hold cut-out on the arm rest making it easy to carry - and it's not heavy either, less than 10lbs. Overall if you are looking for a great tanning or lounge chair with all the bells and whistles this is a great find! I am very happy with it - SUPER comfy and lots of options!

Let me start with the worst feature, it’s the one shoulder strap vs a backpack. Now the good news, this chair is the best I’ve ever used! I love the wooden handles & the comfy wooden arms! You may not have the best body on the beach, but you can have the best chair! Lol (side note: I got this chair because my friend has had this same chair for 2 seasons & loves it STILL!)

I have had this less than a year, I have only taken it on 2 beach trips (last summer and this past week). The seam on the chair ripped half way down one side. I weigh around 215 lbs so I’m not near the 275 lb weight limit. It is hung on a hook in the garage for storage. I love the chair and the concept but that is not worth the money at all. Very disappointing! Also I reached out to the seller and they will not do anything.

Seems solid but not heavy or bulky. Lies flat and can sit up with legs angled or straight out. A bit short as my last chair I could push into the foot rest which I liked this one your feet dangle off the end but it is still super comfortable and supports my back. Definitely recommend it.

Pesa más de lo que esperaba y me ha parecido un poco floja pensé que iba a estar mejor pero está bien

Got this today hoping the more expensive one would be better. But it’s not. Very cheap and this won’t last. I wouldn’t consider this a travel tanning chair. The more you use it the less life it gonna get. The only nice thing about it is the color.

Top Liege für den Urlaub. Hatten Sie mit in Spanien. Sie hat alle Vorüge die man bzw Frau .-) braucht. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Sie ist leicht und gut zu transportieren.

Very comfortable to sitting long and laying down flat! Super light weight, easy to carry!
