Recipe Card Organizer

I honestly researched for an hour when I was looking for the right recipe card holder for me. I wanted something functional, compact, and easy to access. I needed something in which I could organize my recipe cards into multiple categories (the more, the better). I found this Fotoshow one and purchased it 4 years ago...I STILL LOVE it! It is incredibly durable, has nifty clear acrylic divider cases so you can section off your cards and rest the one you're viewing on the front of the acrylic, and comes with prelabeled index dividers for Breakfast, Casseroles, Salads, Breads, Entrees, Appetizers, Cookies, Bars, Soups, Salads, Pastas, and a few more that I can't remember offhand. It also comes with extra labels. It has room for more than 400 recipes (what I have so far) and lots of empty cards, too. Thsi is a wonderful organizer and stores easily in our cabinets. I've dropped it on our granite counters a few times, but the plastic and acrylic don't have any cracks in them...it's good as new!

This is my favorite recipe box ever! Recipes are organized easily. For instance I use one of the clear dividers as desserts and then can sub-categorize by different types. The clear, hard plastic make it easy to put the recipe you are making in the front for viewing while protecting it from spills and splatters. I have ordered one as a gift for my grown daughter. I will include recipes from her childhood for a start to her recipe collection.

I love, love, love this organizer. It is much bigger than most files and your recipes are in reach and you can see them easily as your thumb through them.

The box is much much larger than one which would regularly be used to house recipes. (Think old rollodex size.) It does fit a lot of cards and it IS very useful.
