My knees have never been happier.
I originally purchased this knee pad for yoga, but Iโve ended up using it for so much more. If you have sensitive knees or need extra cushioning when kneeling, this is absolutely worth having around. The padding is thick, supportive, and is so comfortable without feeling too soft or unstable. I use it during yoga, while stretching, and even with my vibration plate. Iโve also found myself reaching for it during everyday household tasks that require kneeling. Most recently, I used it while cleaning out the bottom of my refrigerator, and it made a huge difference. It has held up really well over the years and I still use it daily. Itโs one of those simple purchases that doesnโt seem exciting until you realize how often you use it. If kneeling on hard floors bothers your knees, and if it hurts when kneeling on a yoga mat, I highly recommend giving this a try.

I just received this pad and I love it already
I just received this pad and I love it already! It is not only great at giving that extra support needed for the knees, but I also tried it under my hips and vertically for my spine. It has made such a difference. The padding gives just the right amount of support - not too thick and not too hard. I haven't had any issues with it slipping either. I am so happy with this purchase! ***This review is for the 3/8 inch thick mat - I just noticed that Amazon must have reorganized the reviews wrong when this new mat was added to their site.*** However, I did also order the 3/4 inch mat and I really like it as well so I would also give it 5 stars. I can't roll it up or fold it as I can the thinner version but it is much better on my knees. I find these mats a lot more convenient than using traditional yoga props like blankets - etc. for certain asanas because I don't have to refold or put in the washer - I just wipe it quickly when I clean my yoga mat. I own many props and especially when I have limited time, these mats really come in handy. I would suggest owning both since you are able to manipulate the thinner version for more things (I love it under my hands for Adho Mukha Svanasana because it adds a certain bit of stability for me as well as making it easier on my joints) but the thicker version provides much needed support for those who really need it. I have arthritis in my left knee and was in terrible pain until I started practicing yoga. Over time the pain has greatly decreased but I always use padding for them while practicing to take extra care which makes my discomfort barely noticeable if at all. I admit that sometimes I didn't feel like bringing out my blanket for my knees, but using this mat is so much easier that now I use padding for my knees every time - which has made a huge difference for me, especially now that SukhaMat has put out this thicker version.

Thick, comfortable, durable, worth the money.
This is a great knee pad. It is nice and thick giving your knees relief and comfort when needed during certain yoga poses/positions. It is well made and durable. My only complaint is that it comes rolled up and takes a bit to reshape it so that I lies flat when in use. I found that rolling it up for storage in the opposite direction that it came rolled up in helps to keep it from curling up when you take it out for use. Good investment. No regrets.

Happy Knees!!
This is great if you're working out on a hardwood or cement floor. I really like it and my knees are much happier now!! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's bulky. I know it's being nit picky. I mean, how do you provide extra cushioning for knees while also being compact and easy to pack/transport? I do not know, but this is the best thing I've found thus far. It's just bigger than I thought it would be and takes up quite a bit of space in my gym bag and does not fit in my regular yoga mat carrying case. Also, it rolls up, which is basically the only way to carry/store it, but the when you're ready to use it it wont lay flat so can be a bit cumbersome. I have to fight with it a little to get it under my knee whilst also trying get into position during my workout. I'll lay it out, but sometimes before I can get my knee on it, it'll curl up and start rolling away! Again, still better than putting my knees on the hard ground, but just something to be aware of when using it. It might get more playable with regular use. I'd still recommend it despite those minor issues.

Saved our knees - insanely improved posture and balance!
These are the best purchases. I bought 2 for the family to use. I canโt believe how great they are. They come rolled up tighly, so I was worried they wouldnโt stay flat when I needed to lay it across the mat, but somehow, it does! We went from achy knees and frustration with not keeping balance in poses, to not even thinking about knee pain when in a pose. That small difference changed me from being distracted by pain and wiggling around to avoid pain (and thinking yoga is just not for me) to striking a pose on my knees and being able to focus on posture and balance like a pro. It gave me the confidence I needed simply by taking my pain away from kneeling in the floor. Wonderful purchases!

Just the cushion I was looking for
I have hardwood floors in my house, so my Manduka PROlite yoga mat with a Manduka eQua yoga towel are a little too thin to prevent discomfort on my wrists and knees. It wasn't my intention to be using my yoga mat at home, but now that I can't work out at a studio due to COVID-19, I'm working with what I have. I purchased this little cushion to move around as needed and it works great. I do both barre and yoga exercises on my setup, and the SakhaMat feels great in the places where I need a little extra cushion. I put it under my hands for pushups, I kneel on it when I'm doing exercises requiring that action, I stand on it for barre, and sometimes I fold it in half and use it for a little extra lift when needed for ab exercises. It is about the same width as my yoga mat and the gray color is about the same as my towel, so everything matches really nicely. Overall I'm happy with this small mat.

Great option for yoga!
I finally reached the point in my yoga practice where a folded towel under my knees was no longer providing enough support to keep my practice pain free, so I decided to upgrade to this knee pad and I am extremely happy I did! I use this in a fast moving vinyasa class that includes lots of kneeling poses and it is the perfect size to support one or both knees in every pose that requires it while still being short enough that it doesn't get in the way of my standing series. I should clarify that my knee pain was from wear and tear from a daily yoga practice coupled with extremely bony knees--I haven't had an injury/surgery so I am not sure how well it would work in that case, but as someone who just needs a bit of extra support beyond the thickness of my mat, this was perfect. I purchased the dark blue color and when I opened it for the first time there was a bit of a smell but it dissipated within a few hours. I have also only been using it for a short time, so I can't speak to its durability, but it appears to be pretty dense foam and it springs back to its original shape after every class, so I am hopeful that it will last for a good long while.

Wish I got these sooner!
Nice and thick for my boney knees and bum! Perfect for yoga, sit-ups and push ups, or whatever else youโre doing. I bought two, one for myself and one for my hubby. Itโs firm enough to support with comfort. I definitely recommend. Also, no weird smell!

Good
Bought this for my husband to use in yoga. Iโve had mine for years and is a little stiffer and better in my opinion. Overall the new one is good.

Awesome cushioning for my knees
This knee pad is nice and thick. It made an immediate impact on the quality of my yoga session by cushioning my palms during the downdog pose which I frequently do, and reassures me that I am not placing excessive force on my wrists. I've just placed an order for a second identical mat for my knees.

AWESOME!
If you have any knee problems at all, this mat is a game changer. I spent time looking at various ones & in particular the thickness as that is the difference between being able to do some postures or not. So easy to place it under your knees quickly & then put to one side when not required.

Your Knees will Love This
Was initially looking at the RatPad YogaRat RatPad, Indigo as my knees need the extra padding, but I hate the thicker (squishier) full yoga pads. So, glad I stumbled upon the Sukha Knee Pad instead as I don't need to move it around (as I would with the single knee pad)...good cushion without being too soft and stays put on the yoga mat underneath. The shipping on this item was a little outrageous, but still glad I purchased it...use it every day.
