Natural Balance Limited Ingredient, Lamb & Brown Rice, 13 oz, 12 Pack

My GSP goes absolutely crazy for this. I use it as a topper on his dry kibble to help him maintain his weight, and it's been a perfect solution. The limited ingredient formula gives me peace of mind and he loves the taste. He practically inhales his bowl now. Like any wet food, it does have an odor to it but it's not nearly as strong as other wet foods I have tried so it works for me. Overall great quality wet food that pairs well with dry kibble. Will keep stocking up.

My 7 year old female Australian shepherd has always had a sensitive stomach. We've tried many brands of wet and dry dog food. This one hits the spot. I feel confident giving it to her knowing that the ingredients are as simple and pure as they can get. She seems healthier and gobbles it up.

The only food that works for our allergy filled Shiba Inu!

Dogs are LOVING this! Decided to give it a try after using their dry dog food, which the dogs also love. We were giving them chicken but dealing with allergies so thought we make a switch and so far nothing great results. One of my dogs can be a picky eater and kind of let her food sit all day and she goes straight to it now.

My German Shepherd is allergic to almost everything and I found that this, mixed with the NB dry formula satisfies her and keeps any loose stools or upset stomachs to a minimum. Unfortunately, I believe that the contents & processing of pet foods are not strictly consistent or regulated therefore she has had some flareups. Not as often, but they exist. She can't have any beef, or chicken and doesn't like seafood. I'm surprised how many pet food cans will say Lamb or Duck on the can, but when looking at the ingredients list I will see Beef or Chicken as an added ingredient. NB doesn't have that, so this is what she eats.

Use this canned food for my dood to add a little bit of flavor and treat to his food. He loves the taste and I love that there isn’t a bunch of crap in it.

I started buying this food for my dogs at least a year ago, when one of them (a 7 pound Shih-tzu) was diagnosed with pancreatitis, and our veterinarian put her on a prescription diet. I'm not big on paying a lot of $$ for a little can of food, so I looked for alternatives. We mix this with Blue Buffalo dry dog food, the lowest fat recipe they make, and our little dog hasn't had any problems since! She likes it, and I'm happy knowing that I'm feeding her good food. :-) Our other dog (12 pound Lhasa) loves it, too, though we mix hers with a Blue Buffalo senior mix. We've also tried the Duck & Potato L.I.D. At first, both dogs loved it, but now they seem to prefer the Lamb & Rice L.I.D. We're going to try out some of the other L.I.D. flavors, so they'll have some variety!

I pay for LID for my pet. If humans are being warned not to eat carrageenan, then let's not take chances by adding thickeners that are controversial to our pet's diet. Maybe this excerpt taken from recent organic study, will help explain my position: carrageenan is a common food additive that is extracted from a red seaweed, Chondrus crispus, which is popularly known as Irish moss. Carrageenan, which has no nutritional value, has been used as a thickener and emulsifier to improve the texture of ice cream, yogurt, cottage cheese, soy milk, and other processed foods. Some animal studies have linked degraded forms of carrageenan (the type not used in food) to ulcerations and cancers of the gastrointestinal tract. More worrisome, undegraded carrageenan - the type that is widely used in foods – has been associated with malignancies and other stomach problems. In 2012, Joanne K. Tobacman, MD, who has published multiple peer-reviewed studies that address the biological effects of carrageenan, addressed the National Organic Standards Board on this issue and urged reconsideration of the use of carrageenan in organic foods. According to Dr. Tobacman, her research has shown that exposure to carrageenan causes inflammation and that when we consume processed foods containing it, we ingest enough to cause inflammation in our bodies. That’s a problem since chronic inflammation is a root cause of many serious diseases including heart disease, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases, and cancer.

The dogs love it! They can't get enough and always gets very excited when they know it's time to eat. The meat and rice seems good quality to me and is not yucky like other wet dog food.

I love being able to save some money on my canned dog food by purchasing it in cases, you usually save a few bucks doing so. Even better is free 2 day delivery! I feed my boxer Nubz the same dry food and a rotation of different canned to ensure he's getting the different vitamins in different types. NB is one of my regular foods, Nubz loves it.
