good stuff
i tried one square one and one round one, and was pleasantly surprised! one size is plump and gets nice and squishy when you squirt dish soap on it. the other side is rough enough to clean your lesser messes, though it doesn't replace your heavy duty pot and pan scrubber. i discovered i like the round one for dishes and the square one for my counters.

The BEST for handwashing dishes
I first came across Jetz Scrubz sponges at a high end women's clothing/jewelry/gift store. Really??? They had a little kitchen section with interesting products. Thought I'd give Jetz Scrubz a try. I don't have a dishwasher, so all dishes are done by hand and sponges get USED. Yes, on the face of it, this is an expensive product. But they work and they last SO much longer than other sponges. Just when I was going to see if the store would order me a quantity in bulk and give me a discount, they were no longer being carried. So unhappily I went back to the 10-pack of sponges from the grocery store. Thing is, they got stinky and hardly lasted a week and I really hate the thought of creating that mound of sponges in the landfill. About a year ago I wondered if I could find the Jetz Scrubz online and sure enough, here they are on Amazona and I ordered a few. I'm back to re-supply. They are simply the best sponges. The scrubby side removes almost all the worst food build up on pans and dishes. Food gunk, like eggs scrubbed off the frying pan, does not get permanently stuck in the scrubby side like it does with other sponges. Something about its construction must release micro particles of food and that's why it doesn't get stinky. It's a pretty heavy duty scrubber, but at the same time is much easier on dishwashing gloves than other heavy duty brand sponges. And does not harm surfaces like our glass stove top. The soft side is nice and soft and is great on glassware. Now, I still keep a little square of a heavy duty scrubbing pad next to the sink or occassionally resort to a little SoftScrub because the Jetz Scrubz doesn't do much for mineral build up or coffee stain on the insides of stainless steel pans. If you can't feel the build up you see, the JetzScrubz can't "feel" it either. And for maybe the first month, the soft spongy side isn't the best at absorbing lots of liquid. When I'm done doing dishes, I like to wipe up all the splashed water from the counter top and sink rim and initially this sponge doesn't exactly leave the counter dry. So I'll keep a cheaper, more absorbant sponge/cloth next to the sink too for the times I have to sponge up liquid. Do I mind having an extra scrubby and a wipe up sponge stored next to the sink? Not at all. The "extras" last so much longer because the Jetz Scrubz lasts and lasts. No question that this product is a money saver in the long run. Scrubbing knives seems to be the only thing that will noticeably shorten their lifespan. We "cook" our wet sponges in the mircrowave on a regular basis to sanitize them even though we use them for doing dishes, not for cleaning up raw chicken juices. A touch of bleach used to sanitize them doesn't cause any harm either. Still, there comes a point when even the Jetz Scrubz reaches the end of it life in the kitchen and goes into a house cleaning kit. It's last act will be to clean up dog slobber or something stuck on the floor, only then it will go into the garbage. The JetzScrubz last so long, my supply of old sponges is getting low.
